With the Finnish Brutality over, the scores are out. And out of all of our favourite troglodytes guntubers, James Reeves was the best at position 41 out of 291. Now to be fair Finnish Brutality is all about avoiding penalties and yet being fast and somehow above everyone else it was Reeves who was the best. And to be fair again, big theme is just to have fun and not get DQ'd. If you can get through it and get a respectable time and lack of penalties, that's the goal.

The scores
James Reeves is a gigantic faggot but a hat tip to him for finishing as high as he did. Hell, even Ian did well to finish in the top third.

How did Karl Kas...oh, right.

The guns to be used for interesting content generation are very rarely the most competitive guns to use at any given event.

Case in point

Before taking a new gun to a major I’m going to use it at 2-4 local events first on top of training with it.

People focused on content generation might just zero it before the major event, if that,

His propensity for weird meme guns has grown less charming over time
I mean what else would be the draw of seeing him shoot then? If you want pure skill there are so many other options. I would prefer it if he tried using a forgotten weapon at these big media whore events, but I'm sure in 4 years the stenzel will be featured on a video anyway. He has kinda pigeon holed himself into doing this by being the weird old gun guy.

I don't think he has ever had an issue with his Laugo's.

At least a $5K+ pistol shouldn't have issues.

The position of the ejection port on the standard Alien is prone to being blocked by the left handed shooters thumbs depending on how you place them.

This happened in multiple videos he did with that gun. I haven’t seen the Remus in person so I don’t know if it still has that problem.

I didn’t have this problem using the Alien myself; the major problem is the gun gets so fucking hot so fast it’s impractical to actually train with in Arizona at least half the year.

Right but instead he took some gay marked up AK that is probably less reliable than the african warlord edition (which also would have been a more respectable choice)

In the clip @Laminated Flooring Panel posted he said the reciprocating charging handle ran into a barricade.

AR chads win again!

If you're seriously training in the heat, you will have that problem with any gun. I've burned my hand on a Glock slide lock after a few mags on a hot day. The Alien does heat up faster than other guns and the maintenance schedule is annoying but it shoots extremely well.

Now my question is to you, when will you do the Finnish Brutality?

They invited me to go a few times and I declined. I hate air travel. I avoided flying for 15 years and only did it again because I had to for court. That was 2 years ago now.

They’ve really turned it into a spectacle of an event and I congratulate them on that.

I have 7 FAST Matches scheduled to run over the next year as well as other domestic collaborations so that’s where my focus is.

I can shoot about 4-5x the ammo through a glock before it’s too hot to hold vs the gas operated Alien.

I won cyberpunk division and got second over all with the Alien at High Desert Brutality 2024; after which I sold it.

Shieeeet, you want to learn about burning your hands fire 50 rounds of blackpowder loads in a revolver rapidly. you'll get blisters even with gloves.

And set the range on fire with the muzzle flash.

I commend you for driving across the county to run a FAST match in WV. That’s a lot of driving I wouldn’t do.

All the gun Youtubers. Who constantly say niggers need to be armed? No, the second amendment was made for God fearing white people. Non whites should be restricted and not allowed to own any firearms and all be 2nd class citizens.
Also, these are people's obsession with loving niggers and non whites and giving them guns is weird.

Also, Brandon Herrera, who's going to be a member of Congress, said something that was interesting. You know, not putting a border wall through protected areas. I don't give a fuck about your protected forest, nigger. I. I don't want Mexican stinking up the United States proving once for all that Brandon is gonna become the biggest establishment Republican on the face of the planet as soon as he gets elected.

Have you looked at his district? He has to say that in order to win the fairweather conservative boomer votet that thinks that Big Bend will be destroyed by a wall on one edge of the park miles away from all the scenic spots.

CBP announced a pause on construction there that is likely only until after the midterms.

Also, I hate the environmentalists who want zero infrastructure in the parks. None of them every go more than a mile away from the parking lot, so getting rid of the roads would mean that they couldn't visit their beloved parks at all because they're not going to hike dozens of miles through the wilderness. Not that these types even go to the parks in the first place because they like the idea of nature more than actually being in it.

There's nothing wrong with expanding the highways or building more parking lots to handle the increased visitor population or building a wall to keep out foreign invaders.

Not wanting to build the wall out of environmental concerns is asinine. Do you think that hordes of third-world garbage constantly marching through the area and trampling absolutely everything underfoot is somehow going to have less impact than a wall that will keep them out?

Count me as one of those environmentalists who support limited infrastructure. After going rock climbing in Yosemite multiple times, I can say that park would have been better served remaining as a dirt road in with nothing else instead of what they have now. Same issue with Bears Ears and South Eastern Utah. That land was better off as quiet BLM land because the uranium wasn’t profitable to be mined and making a national monument would only increase eco-tourism. Sometimes the places just get loved to death instead of getting paved over.

Also, I have been to Big Bend as a kid in the 90s. Back then the park was infamous for border crossings on the Rio Grande because there was a Mexican town right across the river (ruins the view from the river). This could be solved with increased border patrol presence in the park and that can be achieved by building the wall elsewhere to free up agents.

Without PLing, public information shows Big Bend is one of the least traveled areas for illegals. Theres places on the northern border with more apprehensions. Would more barriers be good? Sure. But believe me the massive natural hurdles to foot/vehicle travel inhibit illegals a lot more than another fence/wall in the middle of nowhere(even by US-MX border standards) where the border faces a Mexican national park with the same mountainous terrain. They'd be better off putting that money into more populated parts of the border.

This isn't some giant cuck out, I imagine a lot of the surveillance technology will be installed anyway.
