Nah, the C&Rsenal and forgotten weapons crossovers like Project Lightning are awesome. Bloke on the Range and British Muzzle Loaders have done great crossovers with each other as well as with FW and C&rsenal.

That's probably the single best example I've ever seen of someone dealing with a Kiwi Farms thread (even though this thread is only tangentially about C&Rsenal).

He deals with the core issue directly, ie his attitude to their fans, without getting into the weeds of picking a fight with KF. If he mentioned the Farms directly he'd have his own fanbase scrubbing through the thread potentially starting more shit. Instead he gives a honest break down of the criticism and then answers it.

Also it was smart to do it on a Patreon only podcast, because there are people that financially support the show and then there's everyone else.

Just based on where I saw their ads back in the day 10-15 years ago now, their market was people who aren't actually firearm collectors. So they were trying to appeal to normies, mostly boomers, with a passing interest in WW2 who don't know any better. Hooning the bolts and overplaying "GENUINE WW2 GERMAN NAZI SS NAZI WW2 GERMAN WW2 WW2" in ads was how they decided to go about it.
Side note, that MLP Mauser that gets posted every now and then to troll people, that was a Mitchell's Mauser, so it was fucked before the brony even got his hands on it, which is why I don't really get too upset whenever I see it.

That's the one I was most familiar with. More than anything it was people just posting it over and over which was the 'upsetting' part, Initially by /v/edditors who didn't know any better and genuinely thought it was Adolf Hitler's own K98k or something, then by people who knew that was retarded.

I'm 99% sure it was like house paint, and the story I was told is that he sold it to someone else who stripped the paint and refinished it. No idea if they ever fixed the headspacing problems it had.

It's probably the smartest long term move, and hell, maybe Karl even understands that. It just makes "too busy" look like a very diplomatic way to describe a professional parting of ways.

Hopefully Karl at least got the wheelbarrow full of mud in the breakup.
