I think this was right after the 2011 London riots, they got the England flags to pose as EDL members and sympathizers and sent the gun collection pictures to the tip lines of several newsrooms in Britain. If I remember correctly they managed to get some tabloid to publish an online article about it before they realized it was an op and had to pull it.

I've actually never thought about it that way. It was more "contained" as part of board culture than trying to force it into the containment board because at least it was organic.
