IIRC he's spent millions in stem cell treatment.
I heard abt what's you ballpark of it? 5 mil?
They also have the WCW channel running a 24/7 stream. It's always fun to hop into the middle of a random Clash or Thunder (for better or worse).
Trips always making sure they show a random thunder from 2000 then something from 97 and 98

I don't care what you guys say, I love that little nigga Darby. I decided to watch AEW for the first time in about a year just to see him win the title. He's like the new Jeff Hardy or Mick Foley, just a great car crash underdog, and they way he won was perfect, returning a low blow and hitting MJF with multiple finishers. Plus, having Sting give him a peptalk to make the mentor thing with him go full circle was awesome.

Probably closer to 10. I remember him saying a single round of treatment was like $2 mil and he has had several on his knees and shoulders.
I've heard it's a mix of the blood of the innocent injected into his knees
Like in the times of the Aztecs, every year Mexico holds a tournament where the winner is sacrificed to ensure Rey Mysterio never retires.

I like Darby, the problem is that I fully expect to tune in to Dynamite one night only to see him cripple himself/die on TV doing something stupid.

If he survives to old age, he's going to make post-retirement Foley look like prime Osprey in terms of mobility.

You dont know that! Thats a spurious lie and is not backed with hard facts. The truth is, the Hammer could have made it to Steve Austin levels of fame if was given the push. And the talent. And not being a really ugly man with no promo skills other than saying how much he hated black people. But other than those very minor issues, he is on par with the Hulkster if you ask me.
Greg Valentine is an example of a guy who was perfect for the pre Hogan era of wrestling, but once the paradigm changed, he seemed noticeably out of place. I loved his early 80s feuds with Backlund and Morales, but by 1986 he stuck out like a sore thumb, and not in a good way.

Ok I'm back after a 2 day thread ban and was patiently waiting to drag that faggot Meltzer.
That fucking drongo actually reported that Kairi asked for her release. It was just something he made up. Kairi took totwitter and squashed the rumour.
How do you feel NOW, Dave?

Did u ever see him with honky tonk man? Talk Abt a rough look.

Hogan did far more to harm the business with his politicking and bullshit backstage than he did to advance it. He just happened to be the chosen guy for the lead role when expansion, marketing and merchandising came together.
Look Dave, I can see you're really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over.

Dave distracted the marks from that by just writing "Hulk Hogan is a fucking bum no one will remember. The real greatest wrestler of all time is Segato Kobayashii because mighty Nippon is all that matters for wrestling."

And seriously I get it Rikidozan is a legend but I'm sure Japanese Wrestling nerds know about him but an American nerd like me didn't know about him till this week because all we have of Riki is black and white tapes.
Where with Hulk Hogan there is matches and promos from 4 decades and he can be both the Greatest Babyface and the Greatest Heel. Greatest showman of a wrestler while being a mediocre technical wrestler! Hogan is endlessly fascinating and those who try to pretend he's not are full of shit.

EDIT: No further proof than how damn fascinating Hulk is that a 30 year old WCW Match blows my mind with how damn retarded it is.
Who the hell was writing this crap. All that talent wasted on a nonsense story.

The guy who brought that sign in was a genius. Modern WWE No Fun Police killed all good signs.

15% of the population of the United States watched the Main Event where Hogan wrestled Andre in 1988. 15%. Those NBC specials were pulling the same kinds of ratings as Cheers, The Cosby Show and The A-Team. Hogan is always going to be associated with the 1980s the way Mt. T, Ghostbusters, He-Man or Alf are. Look, I Googled 1980s and these came up:

To act like any other wrestler in the United States came that close to the cultural zeitgeist is blisteringly retarded.

"B-b-but El Santo was bigger in Mexico." Yeah, but nobody in the US knows who the fuck El Santo is outside a handful of smarks. Hogan was huge across the US and Canada while not being as popular but still well known across the rest English speaking world and Japan. Honest to god the whole argument is stupid and the people who try to make it are stupid fucking autistic faggots.

You wanna see out of his element look up a guy called Mighty Joe Thunder he was this guy Vince brought in in 82 or 83 to feud with backlund and he looked like he was an extra in Lords of Flatbush or The Wanderers.

The man climbed Everest. That gives him credibility even though the Reddit take is that it's all the Sherpas and is a rich tourist thing. He's entertaining despite his limited physical abilities and actually feels like a proper wrestler.
