This got me thinking about where do fans draw the line with celebrities getting involved with wrestling since the whole thing with Pat McAfee and Jelly Roll soured the Cody/Orton match. Even if guys like Jelly Roll or Logan Paul put in the work, there seems to be a portion of fans and wrestlers who basically act snobbish to "outsiders" (Punk's promo saying tourist have no place in the industry was a pot kettle moment given his failed MMA career). On the one hand you have fans moan about celebrity involvement with WWE, but on the other they demand Cyndi Lauper be put in the celebrity wing of the Hall of Fame for her part in the "Rock n' Wrestling Connection."

Is this just another example of them not being consistent and tribalistic (bringing up celebrities in WWE but not in other companies)?
