Anyways I’m still relatively neutral on the Hinds drama cause I believe that there needs to be more proof or context for a concise conclusion, but from what I’ve gathered he’s seeking professional help (and deactivated his Twitter).

I understand the point the Twitter people are trying to make but they are missing a big point here.

Basically, if the person has admitted to being attracted to children, warned nearby parents, and actually sought medical help (from an actual therapist who isn't paid just to enable mental illness), then the person shouldn't be "harassed" (said meanie words about in a public forum, not even directly, as is typical of Kiwi Farms).

However the Twitter people seem to be forgetting how repulsive the mere act of attraction towards children is. We don't know if the "Hinds" person is using CP to satiate their desires.

Just because a person isn't directly sexually abusing children does not mean they aren't contributing to those who do. Mr. Non-Offending Pedophile "Hinds" could very well have a stash of CP they purchased themselves. This is why you cannot just forgive potential sexual predators even after therapy.

You do not leave a wolf in your barn with your sheep, you do not leave a pedophile around people's kids.

It seems like most pedos became pedos by being molestered in the first place. I'd hope people like that would be able to be somewhat fixed with therapy or whatever.
Modern psychology doesn't seem interested in actually fixing those kinds of problems with people as much as Validating it and enabling it.

TBH it depends. Some people have mental issues that mimics being a pedo. Some people have a subset of OCD where they can't stop thinking about bad shit all of the time. The more they try to stop thinking about it, the more they keep thinking about it, which causes them much distress. So for example, we all have those fleeting crazy thoughts, such as "What would happen if I drove into on coming traffic?!" but those only last a second and we don't dwell on it after it goes. People with this subset of OCD might instead think about it constantly even though they don't want to. Sometimes these thoughts include thinking about hurting others or pedo shit.

From what I've read, this kind of OCD can actually be cured, if you actually go to a therapist that knows what they're doing and you catch it before you do something regretful. However, part of why the MAP crowd sucks (besides the obvious) is that they convince these people that they are fine, and their thoughts are not harmful, it's society that's judgemental and harmful. So these subset of OCD people, instead of getting help and fixing their OCD, they end up in a degenerate crowd that convinces them they are a pedo and convinces them that they'll feel better once they look at CP/harm a child. Another reason no one should ever support the MAP crowd, they not only harm children but also end up manipulating mentally ill people that could have been helped.
