Ghost and True Capitalist Radio General Thread

For those of you keeping up with things: darkrazorz, the guy who helped propel Ghost into the limelight, is/was currently having a war of the words on Twitter with Jace. It seems he did really become a USAF pilot and is currently stationed in Japan if I read his twitter correctly.
Man, I want Jace, Chris, Geis, and TJ Church to all cross paths somehow. Crisis on Infinite Lolcows, we'll call it. :(

Man, I miss Ghost. I used to relax to Radio Graffiti after class. But honestly, it started going downhill when Celtic Brony started his bullshit which caused sop much problems for the Capitalist Army. I suppose it was a matter of time before he left for good, though I hear he's back somewhere.

I did get a username after twitter shout-outs, "Titanic has cool people." Classic.

Wow, I'd totally forgotten about this. I used to listen to this guy all the time. "SUCK MAAAH DIIIIIIIICK" became somewhat of a meme among the 4chan kids at school. I always liked how he'd say something to "Engineer" and then lean away from the mic and slur his words to make it sound like he had an actual audio engineer with him.

I just remembered the old AlexS remix of Ghost that was on my iPod for my brief brony period (when there was only one season). That was in 2011, which makes me feel old ;-;

I liked whenever Ghost got so angry he'd get short of breath. I could just picture him clutching his chest, red-faced and sweaty, over somebody playing one "Fuck You, Texas" too many.

I was never involved in the calls or listening live. I'd heard about him mostly through YouTube compilations a friend of mine linked me to.

I wish I had, though. :heart-empty:
I really miss this guy and his wonderful radio show, and engineer, and the sea of beer cans... and tubguy.
Ohhh my.

Ah, his rages were great, faked or not. Many people fell for it anyways, so if he's a troll, he was a damn successful one.
I had attempted to listen to his shows, but many times it was far too late for me to listen (time zones and all, yeah, I do have a life and can't afford to stay awake at that time). The times I did tune in for a bit, weren't the Radio Graffiti moments. Bit sad, but it was great to listen to new rages when they came out. I for one would love TCR to come back in its full glory.

Unfortunately I only discovered Ghost a few episodes before he left the internet for good, but they were good times all the same.

Actually he said he hasn't really seen that much of Ghost's content and only discovered it after Ghost had quit the internet.

I love Ghost. Unfortunately, I discovered him in early 2014. I wish I could have been around for the initial run time.

I'll always hold out for the return of Ghost even if it is a naively optimistic prospect. :semperfidelis:

IMO, his crowning achievement was his "Ghost: The Musical" song, but unfortunately Ghost quit the internet before it could be played on air

Didn't I make a thread about this guy last year? Oh well, it was old so why not.

But yeah, TCR is funny as fuck. I even go as far as using TCR chatroom shoutout names on Steam. I've been rocking Anal Hamster Rides for at least a year on TF2. I even use my version of the Tubguy voice over the mic in various online games.

Oh god, one time I was playing this really obscure Source mod called Resistance and Liberation (basically a WW2 FPS) They had this proximity based voice chat system so you could hear what anyone else was saying over their mic as long as they were within range, and some guy on the American team had a Ghost soundboard hooked up and used it to communicate with his team. But the best part was when he switched to the German team and started playing those clips of Ghost ranting in faux German about Volkswagens
