It's shame this happened to him. I have alot of fond memories of the earlyish days back in 2011, 2012. Bronies were a cancer even back then because most of their calls revolved solely around that fucking cartoon show and they'd always comprise like 70% of the graffiti(though it was funny to watch them be autistic retards in the tinychat aftershow), but the splices were on the whole more creative and you had people like tzeki calling in to have calm rational discussions or people like goofybone and ghettocapitalist calling in, and frankly it was a more rexaled/jovial atmosphere. Also helps that ghost seemed to know what he was talking about in the more serious bits, though sadly nobody wanted to indulge in the "boring" bits.

Now it's just miserable. Ghost just sounds so tired of it all and most of the calls seem to revolve around clips of ghost saying nigger or some other generic edgy deplatforming things that you can't clip to anywhere without censoring, some gay insider drama, or something else inane. Like on some level i'm glad it's still around but it's also just a painful remind of how bad things are.I sincerely hope this dude ain't just doing the show because he has no other source of income.

The reason the show sucks now is because he monetized it.

That's the only reason.

BTR had a profit-sharing program until Spreaker bought them in 2016, and in order to recoup lost income he initially started selling merch related to the show. This was the origin of the "autograph wars" from those days.

He eventually started selling various shirts, coffee mugs, and other crap on ghost.market and briefly had a cryptocurrency hotline that virtually no one called. When TGS started in 2019 he realized he could get assloads of money from people who did TTS/audio requests/video requests to piss him off, and that's why he was doing 12+ hour streams for a period and raking in well over $1,500 on good nights.

He decided to turn his show into a profit stream, and it is absolute garbage now because of it. I only listen to Radio Graffiti and, if I happen to catch the show live, Twitter shoutouts.

Things have not been the same since 2017. Nowadays learning how he functions behind the scenes and who he hangs around. Yes it is disappointing. Before he use to bat .290 for news and politics stuff but now it is sub .080 with Nostradamus levels of vague. Sure he might still hate me due to the people who hang around him getting in his ear but talking to a lot of OG's 2018 was the last great year. 2019 was when it took a detour, 2020 according to most OG members I have spoken to agreed it was because the people who are really close with him now are too much in his ear. Money talks and they fundraise him. Ghost understands he is a lolcow he has admitted to it so many times in the past and his last broadcast in 2012 when he said he "faked the rage." We all knew he did but again it is a show. Instead of adapting like he did before he fell into an echo chamber of new people that royally fucked him over without him even realizing it and I believe still doesn't no matter how many times og people and I tell him. I am not sure how to feel about it though. I have been a listener since 2012 and having the 4 year skip gave time to listen to everything from 2008-2011 for things I missed . I could tell about the changes he made on improving the show. Last four years has been night and day from what I grew up listening. In the last 7 months I got to know the real ghost and the people who blind him that single handily ruined the community with their gatekeeping, drama starting, and immature natures. Though it was fun to troll some of them, while others trolled themselves LOL.

I won't talk about the RG calls how it is now n-words or him saying faggot because it was just the evolution of the splice. It reminds me I need to start making splices again but I digress. What bugs me most about Ghost is how money can influence a person to make terrible mistakes without even realizing it until it is too late. Or the fact you get "debunked" by him and then says you were right by taking your talking points and claiming he always felt that way. In this case was the Ukraine war, Trump (though Ghost really never liked him to begin with which was a shame but I know he will hop back on the Trump Train in 2024 if there is a show by then) and maybe more topics. What bothers me is that people get in his ear when people want to do good things in the community such as start game nights, community events to keep it active like a normal community does, streams to chill yet the few people in a certain group who cling to him and blind him go out to dox, harass, flag and start drama just to start shit. You try staying out of it yet they they label you fake things and get triggered and butt hurt when you clap back at them. It is funny how they can dish things out yet come whinning back to Ghost when you do something back to them. The most fucked up thing I heard from them was "we are allowed to dox you but if you do it to us, we will get Ghost to dox you and kick you out of the community". Sick and stupid people they are. Imagine you just want to watch a show and comment but you have a handful of idiots trying to start drama that are Ghost's super "pay pigs" in the words ok MK Ultra. I just think it is bs for all the shit that has gone on in 2021 and we are 4 months in and they cause so much shit for the community. My hope his Ghost wakes up and realizes those idiots are the main reason for killing the interactivity in the community in which we always have to have seperate servers making sure to ban those idots who are commonly known from fucking up ghost community events. A thing I always talked to Ghost about in vc and in text was over the years and even in the past 2 years openly I would love to make his merch for tshirts. jackets, mug designs all 100% free without him paying me anything. Yet he ignores me or tells me maybe later while using old or stolen designs from online. It makes me sick when you offer a helping hand to him and he smacks it away. The community deserves better for merch instead of things he never made to begin with. Again I do not hate Ghost and I do find it funny he will continue to hate me. I love that he said my name in the dateline though, that gave me major lolz. If Ghost reads this, hey dad, hope you realize lot of us care still about the show. Also Mr. Jerry Jones called saying we have to go to the sweatshop to continue paying off your sportsball bets you made this year.

Its funny because you can tell that Ghost does get genuinely angry but its more out of a tired irritation. Like the time he rage quit because people were just spamming shitty jokes. I think Elfoxoloco's sticker plan might actually do something if people go to San Antonio and start posting Ghost stickers all over the place

The idea that Ghost never liked Trump and only supported him to piss of the left is funny AF because it really does blow up in his face in 2020 and 2021 when he was begging people to go out and start causing chaos for Trump.

It's what I always thought and what Old OG members from back in the day said. It will be sad when he comes back on the Trump train to run the same boring "I NEVER SAID THAT, THAT WAS A SPLICE" or "OPERATION WARP SPEED WAS A GOOD THING BUT THE DEMOCRATS RUINED EVERYTHING". It isn't surprising about Ghost anymore. Heck talking to him a lot in private, still makes me a bit sad he went down that road. But I am excited about the sticker stuff.
