Ghost's most recent IG post cancelling The Ghost Show last night.
 
While tossing and turning trying to go to sleep last night I just came to the realization that the AI Deepfake voice shit has essentially made any and all splices of Ghost's voice a completely obsolete and archaic method of trolling: New crank calls into the show are going to be wild.

I haven't listened to Ghost since 2016 (I first listened to his show and the crank call compilations back when it was "True Conservative Radio" so I'm kind of al oldfag)- have there been a substantial uptick in AI deepfake crank calls?

There have been AI crank calls in the last few months. The AI struggles with Ghost's way of speaking though and creates a distinct AI voice that sounds similar but is easy to tell apart from his actual voice so splicing is still the preferred method from what I have seen.

Yeah, the tech can't quite replicate his vocal fry or whatever you'd call it. AI Ghost sounds less like hambone than bootleg-Art Bell right now. It's amusing, but hasn't made splicing obsolete yet.
 
I agree that AI Ghost is not convincing and only sounds good the first time you hear it.

I think where AI might change things up is in combining spliced Ghost audio with AI-generated audio for other people to create back and forth dialogue.
 
QRD on the supposed Thunderdome drama from this week? TTS keeps making jokes about springs and one of the usual tards being a pedo (not Al Chappers this time, I think). Ghostshow-dot-win seems to be locked down again and Ghostler hasn't showed up for TGS in almost a month, so I'm in the dark.

Good question. I'm not dumb enough to pay Ghost in any form, so I dont' have an answer either. But for those who don't know, it's getting talked around on TTS and in chat on the current (live) TCR 615:
Edit: Toward the end, Ghost claimed Ghosto-mojima was involved,. Some of the tts was claiming doxing was happening. IDK. I'm cynical enough to think he was just trying to drive people to cough up $69 for the chat room (or $300 each for the two remaining inner circle slots).

Summary as I understand it - Ghost lets Al Chappers do what he wants in Thunderdome and goes so far as to give one of his friends a free admittance to the chat, DJ Launchpad. DJ is some retard pedophile grooming teenage girls in their weird discord, and Ghost finally puts his foot down when he tries to bring a 15 year old girl into the Ghost community. The "boing boing" spam going on referred to DJ Launchpad's apparent fetish for people bouncing on oversized bounce-balls. It's about as autistic as I could have expected. This shit is allegedly why we haven't had a new TGS in going on a month now.
