Ghost and True Capitalist Radio General Thread

I can no longer find any proof of it having happened, but I distinctly remember that a few months ago, DarkRazorZ had some kind of severe mental breakdown/crisis (maybe involving some suicide baiting), and Elfoxoloco was moralfagging about how Ghost was ignoring or laughing it off.
DarkRazorZ fell into some financial trouble and his wife left him. the last time he was heard from was a couple of Reddit posts were he was asking for financial aid and he even opened a go fund me page too. Ghost on two occasions spoke about him on the show. Apparently DarkRazorZ was involved in the Gamestop Wallstreet Bets stuff going on at the time and that's how people assume he lost his money and eventually his wife. Oh and he had to give away his cats as well since he could no longer take care of them.

I think Ghost was right to call him out for his bad financial decisions, although maybe he could have been more tactful about it. The only thing i can say in DarkRazorZ's defense is that Ghost is probably wrong about him frivolously wasting money traveling abroad. DarkRazorZ being in Okinawa, Japan, and Korea was almost certainly due to his Air Force postings, not leisure travel.

I know I'm replying to week old posts but the other thing with DarkRazorz is how he would have listened to nearly EVERY TCR episode from 2011-2012 since he uploaded the RG highlights from them, so it's bizarre that he didn't have any of ghost's financial advice and insight brush off on him either. As Ghost suggested in the video too he could've just went up to a building site and offer laboring services for a while to get back on his feet. I don't know if he's doing well now but people will always go "I'm broke please give me money" but act like they're higher than working minimum wage or tradesman jobs.

I'm surprised Ghost did not decry the musical blasphemy of rewriting the "Bonnie Blue Flag" song into a pony anthem.
It was very surprising to me that he didn't pick up on the Confederate undertones of the song, especially considering how big of a Proud Texan he is and how much he loved the confederacy. Or maybe he did and that's why he hated the hell out of it.

I remember that he has a very basic boomer antipathy for the Confederacy and derides pro-Confederate sentiment as a view held by "shit-kicking hicks", who he looks down on.

The economic portion of the broadcast was always first up, so all of the trolls were readying their soundboards/splices and DarkRazorZ recorded all of the shows live so he was probably setting up his recording shit. Not really surprising he didn’t listen to it. It was always, to the troll callers, just “filler” for the first news story when he would take calls. I don’t ever remember him taking calls on the economic report.

The ghost show just isn't as fun as TCR
The tards literally treat him like a dad and get all excited when he watcht their video dono if he didn't drink I don't think he would do the ghost show
I liked the old format (~2018 or so) where he'd start with crypto and markets. I made some decent money from that and even if I didn't always agree with his boomer-centric rationale, I did appreciate the perspective. Now he's just a broken record about how much he loves immigration and bootstraps. If that's him firing back at the abuse he gets from chat, fine, but it got old fast and I just tune out whenever he goes on a half-hour tirade about any of that shit now.
Also I tried that jap beer he has been drinking and it's pretty good

(Sapporo)
He's a lot more entertaining when he's doing TCR
Sapporo is good. Japan produces a lot of good beers aside from the big 3 (Sapporo, Kirin, Asahi), and if you're lucky enough to live near a big liquor store with a wide selection of imports, you can't go wrong trying any of them. Hokkaido beers in particular are quite nice. It's good to see the old man branching out a bit. If he's going to rub in how broke his trolls are, he could make being a beer bon vivant a part of the format pretty easily and have a little more fun with it than just pounding back enough shitty cheap lagers until he's too drunk to be angry.

Where I bought my Sapporo it wasn't that expensive it was cheaper than Guinness I'm gonna go back tomorrow and grab a big pack thanks for the recommendation Hokkaido looks familiar to me i think they have some at my store

Yeah, Sapporo and Kirin will tend to be pretty affordable, they produce at scales comparable to any other major brewery you could name (don't know how Asahi would be priced in the US, they didn't really start selling it in the US until recently IIRC), and will be pretty reasonably priced compared to anything else your typical grocery store sells. Like with US craft breweries, basically anybody outside of the big 3 in Japan will tend to be pricier. Sapporo is actually a Hokkaido brewery, which is maybe why it's always been my favorite of the three. There's lots of other Hokkaido-produced brews you should try too if you ever get the chance.

Imo it's better than the Guinness for export to the States (although I prefer that Guinness for cooking).
