When did ghost’s dlive chat get disabled? I dropped by to see if the hambone was streaming last night and it showed his chat was disabled due to some violations.

It was active when I looked Tuesday, but disabled yesterday when I checked if there was a show, so it must be sometime in between.

I tried commenting on his latest post on ghost.report but there weren’t any more comments allowed so I’m guessing he knows. My gues is that they finally got to him since some of his listeners and trolls like evilmiera have been accused of reporting his show.

Word is that Dolakov put KeemScarce's dox in the chat which is why it got disabled.

EDIT: I'm now hearing that it was due to Ghost soliciting crypto.

I hope Ghost returns soon assuming hes not dead. His streams make for great entertainment and background noise. I regret dozing off when watching the last stream he did...

Ghost really should have capitalized on the whole tard thunderdome aspect of the show back when the IC wasn't shit, he basically did bloodsports before bloodsports just not on air. But I guess now with all the people who he kicked out of the IC who organized those like Kush, Insane, ect. the ship on that has long since sailed

Is there much interactivity on The Ark? I never got into the Jesus Chatline stuff back in the day so I'm not too familiar with what Richard Burnish does.

It's a call-in show format. Maybe 20-30 minute long segments of calls broken up by 5 minute sections of in-character donation readings, which are in the form of a printed image and character-limited text block. Throughout the show, there are also pop-up onscreen text donos, but Richard usually ignores those unless they are pertinent to the current call or whatever is happening onscreen. I think he has also paywalled the various "fan" photo/drawing submission sections of the show, but this monetary barrier of entry seems to keep the quality up and the weenery down.

The chat is usually moving too fast for Richard to react to very many specific comments or do comprehensive shout-out requests for non-members (I guess one area where his format is inferior to Ghost's), but such as it is, Richard encourages chat interaction by having the chat spam certain phrases, letters, emotes, etc in reaction to whatever is going on at the moment. I think the element of interactivity is most tangibly manifest in how quickly Richard picks up on and seamlessly incorporates the memes and headcanon/lore that are spawned by the chat in reaction to certain callers, characters, and events. I'm continually surprised at how little the show's now fairly extensive lore draws upon the Jesus Chatline days, and at how much elaborate backstory and character dynamics have been spun out from random humorous exchanges and mispronunciations.

If you're interested in calling, it's my understanding that it's pretty hard to get on due to the sheer number of callers, though you could say the same of TonyTalk too these days.
 
The Thunderdome Discord is gone; not sure whether Ghost himself deleted it or it got reported and taken down, but I've seen more than one person claim the latter.

Gonna be real here, as much as i like a well performed ghost chimpout the ratio of boring fucking tedium to fun moments has just fucking exploded into the stratasphere this past year or two so I quietly jumped ship to tony talk's ragu ride a couple months back
