It was denied because they never released the original 2 films, so this has no nostalgia appeal there.

I think that was just Bill Murray, because he didn't want to do any more Ghostbusters movies and the phrase "aggressive litigation" was being thrown around at Sony.

As if anyone could imagine an episode of RLM where they praise Ghostbusters. That's like getting mad at Dave Chappelle for making cop jokes.

Quite a few people on my Twitter feed who normally love RLM were surprisingly salty about that review and have been alternating about bitching about it and the Nero/Leslie situation all morning.

I want to know Dan Akryod's opinions on the matter. The man is just the kind of nutjob who's crazy enough to actually be entertaining in his ranting, not more of this neckbeard v legbeard 5 talking points over and over. I want to hear why ghostbusters failed from the man who thinks aliens are angry about 9/11, and are violating quote "Title 18, Section 1201 Paragraph A, of the United States Code., and that we need to arrest them. The man who at one point claimed the original ghostbusters was based on legitimate science.
