I would argue anime isn't as pozzed as most western TV and cartoons. Most animes are about heterosexual relationships and stupid fantasy shit or cute girls being cute, which is how its always been. Honestly this. Anime can be weird at times but there's at least some good shit out there. Honestly though I just play 80s - 2000s video games and listen to music more than I watch TV, so I'm pretty out of touch when it comes to what's big on TV these days. I think the pedogoonertrooner issue is more of a societal than a legal one.
