I haven't watched Tom's video in full due to the censorship making it unpalatable but it's upsetting, though not surprising, to hear Tom cover details that likely hold little to no importance to the story. I know he probably does such things to cover his own ass but it really does come off as spineless to give the community that influences these problems any kind of ammunition to fight back against what we very clearly know as fact. He unambiguously states several times in the logs that he's claiming to be trans in order to access children and silence people who could criticize him, including children's parents and guardians.
