India is strange when it comes to work. On construction sites shoveling is a two man job. There is a rope attached to each shovel and every shoveler has a man dedicated to helping them lift the shovel. They then throw quick-crete over to another pile onto a higher ledge (much of it blowing away) and this repeats multiple times.

Normal work often does not give any sense of accomplishment as it is truly meaningless.

This is one of the consequences of Elon Gates adding monetization to tweeter. The same thing happens on Facebook with those ridiculous AI images - Facebook had some pilot program for India + Africa where people would be paid on impressions and they just generated autistic images that people shared like crazy.

Sadly, this means that tweeter has become completely filled with shitty accounts like these - they often reply to topics about something topical and try to interject their addictive video/meme accounts into shit and they do it at scale.

The only way to fix it is either for tweeter to specifically exclude low value accounts like these or for them to become so widespread that they no longer generate enough money for it to be worth doing anymore - the reason why they are so attractive for 3rd worlders to do to begin with is that anything involving tech and remote work pays a hundred-fold more than any normal local job they could get. These type of accounts should be excluded anyway because they're just ripping off other people's content.

For most people in decent countries it isn't worth doing shit like this to begin with.

There's little armies of guys just like this one who are abusing every single incentive program on YouTube, Google, Facebook, Meta, Tweeter and everything in between.

Gimmick accounts aren't even the worst way I've seen jeets shit up Twitter. Months ago they used to spam every mildly popular tweet in hopes of farming engagement points. In true jeet fashion they did so in the most low-effort way possible by copying another user's already popular reply or having ChatGPT generate attempts at humor as pitiable as a substitute teacher's. It did not seem to work out for them as they got very few likes if any and soon ceased to spam, or at least in non-Indian Twitter where people would be more perceptive to their intentions.

I watched a show about bridges all over the world and they showed a bridge being built and maintained in India and when I saw these guys climbing steel in flip flops and basketball shorts I nearly had a heart attack. No tying off even at fatal heights, just a mess.

The fuck? That's some seriously low IQ shit. Have they never heard of a conveyor belt? The Romans and even the fucking ancient Egyptians used them. Have they ever heard of putting powder into fucking BAGS? This is almost never having invented the wheel levels of retardation.
