I caught a P-Funk show in Austin, TX in like the early 00s. It's still to this day one of the best stage shows I've ever seen. I'm there, high as fuck, wearing a bathrobe..watching a dude in a nappy play the bass for 30 minutes before Atomic Dog and George comes out, he is fucking strung out but gold. Probably the second best concert I've been to..The first is more than likely Primus when they re-toured Sailing the Seas of Cheese. Seeing Tommy the Cat live was just excellent.
