The thing is that both hashtags feel really hollow and kinda fake. First Elsa, then Cap, i wonder who'll be next week. #GiveJonSnowaBoyfriend? #GivetheGhostbustersTransLovers?

It doesn't feel like representation imo, just generic yaoi fetishes intermixed with weird ass politics. They just want to have gay sex so bad...And it'd be easier to find it elsewhere than complaining about children's movies.

That's exactly what it is. But rather than just admit they wanna get off to seeing same-sex fictional boning; they'll hide behind the "I'M BEING ACTIVISM! THIS IS FOR REPRESENTATION!" claims. Honestly I'd rather have the perverts who'll at least admit they're perverts over these self-righteous hypocritical assholes.

Also I know a solution to both hashtags. Ship Elsa and Cap with each other, it's totally possible since they're both Disney properties. I mean Cap's had a great relationship with ice in the past!

Agreed. Although I can buy that SOME people behind #giveelsaagirlfriend might be genuine in wanting representation, even if they can be rather obnoxious about it. Of course you also have other people who just like the idea of two hot chicks having lesbian sex and poorly diguise their perverted intentions by claiming this is good for the LGBT (like Dobbo for instance).

The Captain America hashtag primarily seems to made up of the latter albeit gender flipped.
