Hah yeah that was my first trek on 4chan when /b/ set up raids on his radio show circa 2005/06. Imagine that in 2025 you'd have people calling to say trans rights and gay shit. Can't have fun anymore.

This post was on the first page but I didn't see an answer. The troons over at DDoSecrets published a hack of GSG in 2021, which exposed a bunch of user data and resulted in harassment of people who had donated to causes such as Kyle Rittenhouse. That was 4 years ago, and Wells has said that security was made tighter, and nothing like that has happened since.

I'm not making a value judgment on GiveSendGo, more simply providing some historical context.

GiveSendGo was the alternative crowdfunding online platform used to fundraise 10 million USD for the Canadian trucker convoy COVID protest in Feb 2022 after the mayor of Ottawa and other Trudeau-aligned politicians lobbied behind-the-scenes for GoFundMe to close the 1st campaign that raised 10 million (but had only paid out about 1 million to the trucker leadership, which was subsequently seized by court injunction and AFAIK still remains in escrow 3+ years later. Only 18k total from both 10 million dollar campaigns ever made it to a trucker's pocket & gas tank officially).

GoFundMe bent the knee, closing the campaign with about 9 million left outstanding, initially announcing they'd be donating the balance to a cause of their (GFM's) choice. After some pressure by trucker-sympathetic US figures, they announced about 24 hours later they'd be refunding the monies.

The trucker leadership subsequently created a 2nd campaign at GSG which was comparable to the total from the canceled GFM one.

Unfortunately, mid-protest, GiveSendGo was hacked by a suspected alphabet person Canuck loon who took credit and had past ties with both the RCMP and US security agencies.

The entire donor list was made public with donors names, addresses and donation amounts. Crazed leftists used it to make searchable Google map documents of people's neighbourhoods showing the names & addresses of donors near you. Trudeau-funded journos used the hacked list to start cold-calling donors of note with public-facing jobs to out them & intimidate them by feigning "reaching out for comment".

Police forces used the hacked list to purge their ranks of donors for as little as $20. Police officers were suspended without pay and brought before labour boards for struggle sessions. There was an infamous one in Ontario where a mediator ruled an officer who donated to a legal protest owed something like 80 hours of unpaid coerced labour as restitution.

The 10 million or so in GSG monies raised similarly never made it to their intended targets. Two separate court injunctions sought by governments (and a ridiculous $200 vexatious civil lawsuit for damages from "honking" on behalf of local residents in Ottawa brought forward by a suspected Chinese plant in a supposed young civil servant activist named Zexi Li which is still ongoing) froze & seized any potential donations to the convoy leadership or truckers on the ground.

Soon afterwards, Trudeau would enact martial law nationwide, including new financial sanctions compelling all domestic financial institutions to freeze bank accounts of any citizen by police or government request, or anyone they suspected was sympathetic to the protest. Something like 130+ citizens had all their accounts frozen by government fiat, trying to compel them to go home. Trudeau and those involved confabulated that dark money from Russia & MAGA was funding protests damaging the Canadian economy and subverting public health COVID safety.

Thankfully, most of the monies were across the border in the US and out of reach of Trudeau and his lackeys. However, given that martial law had been enacted in Canada and there was no way to get money to those intended by the campaign, Jacob Wells of GSG was sympathetic to the protesters but ultimately announced that they were refunding all monies from the campaign back to donors.

After the trucker protest was violently quelled by thousands of militarized police with truncheons & assault rifles against unarmed citizens, Jacob Wells was summoned to a Trudeau Parliamentary committee to testify in debrief.

Wells accepted the invitation even though he couldn't be compelled as a foreign national, but was concerned that he committee he was invited to was fixated on "Ideologically Motivated Violent Extremism", essentially branding the peaceful 3 weeks of protest over COVID restrictions in Feb 2022 in Ottawa as violent, far-right domestic, white supremacist terrorism funded by foreign dark money.

I do believe that Wells did testify remotely, was sympathetic to the grassroots trucker cause and found the government response draconian and delusional even if in the end he was forced to shutdown their campaign just like GFM did.
