I was looking at that comedy forum linked on the previous page and this made me laugh

The current thread started on October 15th and already has 53 pages, they're obsessed. You'd think they would learn from Glinner not to be too online.
 
I've read most of his autobiography "Tough Crowd" and though the bits about how he prioritized his hatred for troons, or "fight for justice", as he would put it, over his family is at times depressing, the parts about Father Ted etc are pretty insightful and interesting. I am grateful to him because he provided me with some of my favourite entertainment of all time. And while I agree with most of what he says about troons, I still think it's sad how he allowed his monomaniacal obsession with them destroy his life.

TBH cookdandbombd would probably make a good thread on community watch. The users on there are fucking insane in their absolute obsession with being seen as 'on the right side of history' which is hilarious considering how the users are torn between enjoying chris morris making dead baby jokes and being appalled at glinner making a couple of gags about a tranny 10 years ago.

I didn't know there was a whole community of these melts. It sounds like a goldmine. I've seen a lot of individual ones like Frankie Boyle who's made jokes about raping dead trannies and now acts all sanctimonious about it if anyone else tells similarly tasteless jokes, and pretty much any stand-up from the 2000s, but a whole group of them!

eta: didn't Glinner used to write for Chris Morris? lol

This is actually something I see quite a lot. I've noticed that the same type of people who love to make jokes about raping and disembowelling babies are also the same people who get super offended at anything making fun of "marginalized groups", make all the baby rape jokes you want but heaven help you if you crack a joke about black people or trannies in their presence. Just think of the near 1:1 overlap of people who rushed to defend James Gunn and Justin Roiland but actively wish death on JK Rowling.

Frankie Boyle still makes those jokes but he does it to retards who pay to see him, the Guardian readers don’t pay to see him so they think him caring about the current thing makes him a changed man. He’s an utter cunt who pulled the ladder up behind him. I really want him to fall from grace.

Edit: I should have probably put that outburst in the Stand-up Lolcows thread. You can’t be anymore disappointed in me that I am in myself.

I don't want him to fall from grace, I want him to fall into a running wood chipper - he's a 2000's edgelord, two faced ginger cunt who's more interested in saving face and getting back onto the BBC or some other luvvy life support gig than having a backbone or the courage of his convictions but that's assuming he's got either and that's very much in doubt.
 
Frankie Boyle is a pound shop cunt version of Jerry Sadowitz - a far superior Scottish comedian who could be mistaken for a genuine psychopath if he hadn’t been on the circuit for 40 fucking years.

Glinner actually went on about Jerry last year when one of his gigs was pulled from the Edinburgh fringe for ‘extreme racism, sexism and misogyny’ which as luck would have it, gave Jerry some of the only mainstream publicity he’s had in decades and led to him selling out on his tour.
 
Has Graham commented on the happenings in Dublin? Whilst I think he’ll probably be clutching his pearls as he hasn’t drifted far away from the left yet to stop believing “diversity is strength” he must know deep down in his soul the angry white men lighting fires will probably do more to bring about a change to stop this gender nonsense than middle class women writing snarky letters to broadsheet news papers?

Apologies. And true, he has cited the Farms before iirc. Hello fella, best advice I can give you is to be less gullible re: grifts and AGP troons alike. People being nice and flattering your ego doesn't always mean you can trust them. That's not to say Grace isn't also lolcowish, but she's been pretty smart in spotting scams and narcissistic loons before.
