Some of the stuff Paisley is seething about isn't actually from Glinner himself, it's from the BTL commenters on his Substack. At one point the judgement even quotes him telling them off for spuriously calling Paisley a paedo:

He's terminally online. At the start of this trans fight 3-4 years ago he was making some good points. He said trans was like the priests used to be in Ireland, if you can't criticize or ask questions about a group of people, bad things happen. Predators creep in. But he goes about this all wrong.

The name calling doesn't work. Switching from far-left to basically alt-right views doesn't make him seem terribly stable or knowledgeable. He's always flailing around yelling at someone. It's like he needs a target, no matter what else is happening in the world. Originally he was saying he was worried about his daughter, what if his daughter had a school overnight trip and there were boys in the room. That makes sense for a dad to worry about that. Now he's weighing in on like, DNC speeches. You're not even American, Graham (you know he reads here). Maybe worry about your own back yard first.

And he thinks all those comedians and actors were his friends. He's deeply hurt they didn't "support" him. If you have 2 hits to your name (Father Ted & the IT Crowd) a bunch of actors, writers & producers WILL kiss your ass. That doesn't mean they actually like you; that means they want something from you. They're always looking for their next gig; they are not brave about offending anyone with power in their industry.

He's cried about this stuff in interviews and it's like: if you act really unstable and put more hours into Twitter than your family, your wife WILL leave you. Whatever the cause is. If you lose your status as a sitcom creator, actors WILL stop pretending to like your old, ugly ass. This guy chose TWITTER over his family or having IRL friends. He's nuts.

He also should've taken the 200k buyout he was offered for Fr Ted the Musical, he could've put that into his activism instead of linking a BuyMeACoffee in his Twitter profile. Should've tried to negotiate them up to 250k and just let them have it; it's a 30 year old property with an all-white cast of mostly priests. That's not exactly what theater audiences are into right now; everyone is still chasing the Hamilton dragon. It would probably have only run for a few weeks anyway. He needs to go get help and make some actual friends.

His problem is he’s a Londontard, £200k isn’t much in London money where if he moved north that would pay for half of a nice house somewhere.

How he’s not able to monetise his activism is also insane. He should be able to make a living off it, and only retards would begrudge him that as, despite what a knobhead he can be, he has sacrificed absolutely everything for this fight.

I think deep down he’s a snob and he thinks working for money is somehow vulgar. He was able to make an arty living in the past and the comfortable living and cash must have seemed like a nice byproduct of his arty existence.

He’s in rue real world now and he can’t cope. It’s sad as he doesn’t have to be in this positio.

I have said this before, I have a soft spot for him as it was him who started to peak me, but I really wish he’d get his act together.

I'm honestly not sure what he's qualified for, work-wise. Normally someone like him can teach classes but if he tries to they'll probably get infiltrated by activists who want to trigger him. The trans movement is very well funded and they would think it's hilarious.

If he applied for a job as say, a barista, would you hire him? Line cook? He has no real work experience and much of the general public hates him.

What I don't get is why he can't do rewrites on films uncredited, work as a script reader - anything. He is pretty good at the comedy writing thing; some people never have a hit, he had 2. You'd think someone would bring him on as a consultant, keep him well hidden and cut a check to an LLC he set up instead of to him as an individual. But I mean he's even been dropped by his agent. He really shat the bed.

He must be making decent scratch off the Substack. It's £30 a year at the lowest tier and his checkmark is orange, which means he's got thousands (but not tens of thousands) of paid subscribers, so he's grossing £30k-£300k from it. I've heard £90k thrown around from ultra TERFs before. No idea how, or even whether, he pays his contributors who write most of it for him these days, or how much of a cut Substack takes, but if it is £90k then that's twice the average salary in London. A step down from before, for sure, and he's always getting troons trying to slap lolsuits on him which must get expensive, but not flat broke.
Ricky Gervais and Count Dankula did well out of America, he could absolutely do the same. Or work on shows with the Daily Wire or GB News or the Comedy Unleashed and Triggernometry crowd if he didn't want to be Alan Smithee for work on main channels.

I can’t blame him for wanting to settle scores. They’re all his former friends who turned their backs on him and went full clown world and put women in danger.

Not a bad showing from Linehan. More sensible in person than on his twitter thankfully. Heard he was also alright at a free speech college meetup earlier this year in Dublin too. Again, focus on the troon issue instead of literal gay ops among TERFs and he should be going smoothly.

I acknowledge and accept Glinner’s lolcow status, but I still love the man. I know he’s unhinged on Twitter, but we’ve all got our faults. He should have taken a leaf out of Rowling’s book and been a bit more targeted in his attacks, but in the end he did a lot to amplify the voices of more sane TERFs 5 years ago and a lot of people including me woke up to the insanity of transgenderism partly thanks to his incessant tweeting. That’s my 5 cents. Also, I enjoyed the Andrew Gold interview.

I don't think these were his actual friends. HE may think that, but that might be all in his head. I used to work in the entertainment world, it's a lot of going to parties and networking. That's a huge part of the job. For agents/managers, you go to film festivals if your client's project is there. If you're their manager, you hold their stuff while they're getting photographed. You take pics with your phone & their phone, too. If there's another client of yours there you introduce them. Things like that. If you're an actor or comic and you get invited to a party where a writer/director like Graham throws, you go.

You go out and circulate, that's part of how you get the next job. "What are you up to/what are you working on?" is kind of all anyone talks about. "Oh I just wrapped this project and now I'm taking meetings/doing a play/whatever." He was a successful writer with 2 hits under his belt, so they were going to his events and laughing at his jokes. They needed people like him to like them & cast them.

I think Graham misunderstood the line between professional relationships and actual friendships. I had something over 100 clients when I worked at a talent agency. I'm still in touch with maybe 5-10 of them as friends. People don't kiss my ass as much anymore. It's an adjustment but most people don't take this long to adjust.

Actors & comedians also never know where the next job will come from. So they try really hard to not offend people. They're unlikely to apologize in any on the record kind of way even if he's right. Graham expected that they were all like, rock-n-roll 1970s "goddamn these squares" types. That's not how entertainment works right now. It's not the Pythons getting George Harrison to fund their silly movie. The industry is much more conservative and afraid than it was back then. There's also just less money in TV/film overall. That whole industry is afraid of things like the new GTA and TikTok right now.

I like Graham in some ways but my god he never grew up. He'll always be miserable if he can't let some of these things go. Comedians are generally not the most stable people, they are usually people who can't hold down normal jobs and have at least one crippling addiction. I can't imagine having my whole self image rest on what a handful of comedians of all the fucking people thought of me.
 
He's set up a gaming channel for streaming vidya, but is still posting gaming streams on his main channel.
About halfway through some troon shows up in the chat and they battle it out for the title of biggest lolcow.
