So little crossposting.
I found some interesting information to explain why Gooseworx decided to limit their episodes to his show to just 9, as well as to explain why Liam decided to end his series the way he did.

I think this was posted here before??? Not sure.
All I do know is this information is what made me realize Liam might just not be a great writer if he feels like Murder Drones was a completed story considering how much it feels like you're watching it out of context from Episode 1.

Nonetheless, I still have to give them both props for not stretching things out longer than they should be.

A lot of media suffers from that. An unwillingness to just let the story or series end.

Yes, mostly because I remember their being some kind of drama or controversy with someone involved but can't recall what it was off the top of my head or find what it was by searching.
Alright so maybe this is what I was remembering. So apparently there was some drama regarding Jomark who is a popular animator in the fandom? However the only thing I could really find regarding this is two videos by some zesty sounding furry faggot who barely explains anything.
Decided to link and archive anyway just in case. 🤷‍♂️
I guess he's a pedophile???

so a fallout youtuber called silverfox1232 posted a video about and called overrated indieslop: in which it's about a whole lot of indie related products (cartoons and at the end, vidya games) the video is mostly about glitch productions, their shows, smg4, the amount of goyslop merchandising and hush money from the australian government and japanese ricecattle.

It's just a guy rambling to himself for an hour, nothing that interesting. The only thing of value is the listing of unpopular indie animations that don't get as much traction as the big ones. They're linked in the video's description.

Based. Not to get too off topic but the guy who worked on it did CGI or something for The Matrix? You can really see it with the fight scenes. That being said I hope he like actually finishes the game soon. He's gone completely silent for a year and it worries me.
That being said I'm surprised it isn't more popular, maybe it's because of the simplistic plot? Not sure, it's your run of the mill secret agent kills people in badass ways kind of story. But I can respect the simplicity of it. There's also humor too, he seems to be self aware enough to know what he's doing.
I THINK he's going to continue the series once the game is finally finished?
That's also probably why it hasn't gotten much attention though, the series has been on hiatus since he started working on the game so there's no new content, on top of him going silent since last year on Youtube at least.

On the subject of games and to make my post a little more relevant to the thread subject, I've heard people saying they want there to be a game or two based on Glitch series. One example was a Murder Drones game but I'm honestly not even sure how that would work... would it be survival horror? Action? Fuck if I know. At least in that medium the gameplay could potentially distract you from the dog ass story at least. If the gameplay is bad though it's just gonna highlight it. (Assuming it'd be a game based on the series plotline and not it's own thing which is also possible.)

Pretty fun video. Spotted some KF screenshots too.

MD could work as a grand strategy game, or at least an autistic man from საქართველო (Georgia) tried to make it work by making a Murder Drones-themed mod for Hearts of Iron 4.

You know it's going to be an experience when it has OVER ELEVEN THOUSAND ERRORS.

He's now working on a new Murder Drones mod that actually takes place on Copper-9 instead of the Caucasus.

(Isn't the water supposed to be frozen?)

This is what its roadmap looks like:

So he's telling me that I can have BOTH ISRAEL AND IRAN ON COPPER-9‽ I'm sold!

(Un)surprisingly, this wouldn't be the first time a cartoon gets turned into a mod for a grand strategy game like Hearts of Iron 4, because we have Equestria at War, the My Little Pony mod where colorful horses commit war crimes with firearms, tanks, planes, and magic.

I liked GLITCH Karts, the whole premise of "tricks don't immediately boost you, but are actually stored and you can use them at anytime" sounds very fun to me. I wouldn't mind if they expanded on it and sold the game for like 20 bucks on Steam.

Only real issue with it is that the characters DON'T EVER SHUT UP, OH MY GOSH, KILL YOURSELF UZI!

One example was a Murder Drones game but I'm honestly not even sure how that would work... would it be survival horror? Action? Fuck if I know.
Oooo, that gives me a few ideas:

-A hack 'n' slash action-adventure game ala Devil May Cry style, which incentivizes you to switch weapons constantly mid-combat, kinda like how the Disassembly Drones just go from claws, to swords, to machine guns, to rocket launchers, back to swords, then to sniper rifles... you get the idea. You can make the game focused around the main trio (Uzi, N, V) and not change that much of the story besides adding a few extra enemy types from here and there, with the excuse of "This giant defunct 20 feet aggressive metalllic mammoth just got activated after decades getting nothing but rust, because the Solver thought it would be funny".

-A XCOM type of game where Khan is like "I'm SICK of these clanking oil suckers! the murder drones will die, or we die with them!", so he starts drafting a bunch of worker drones, which includes (You), a custom self-insert character to be one of the main WDF's squad captains in order to eliminate the loyal JCJenson's bootlickers and to Make Copper-9 Great Again!
All units you control are also randomly generated drones with a variety of hairstyles, character expressions, names and accessories that can be customized to your liking (but just ike XCOM, could be a waste of time to see them die on the next map lol). There's also multiple weapons, a variety of different equipment, and even multiple classes with stuff like Rescue Drones, Riot Drones, Aerial Drones, Drones Drones, and so on and so forth
(See this example for some of the designs that could be in)
Honestly, if the Murder Drones franchise continues or gets rebooted, I'd love to see more robot designs. I don't care if it's just one giant Drone, I just want to see variety. Here are some fanarts I found:

The story would be pretty different, but you could say the game is about an alternative timeline where Khan isn't a wuss, and Solver!Tessa isn't a dumb idiot that only wants to bring 3 retards from the dead and actually has a big robot army at her disposal. Maybe we can even get to see some other drone bunkers and locations too, expand the world a bit ya know?

In general, I don't think making a MD game would be that hard to conceptualize, because like it or not, MD already has a cool edgy setting!

They have robots that can pull weapons from thin air, these same robots can honestly just do whatever they want really, and we never got to explore what Copper-9 has to offer besides like, 2, or maybe 3 locations.

The main show is badly written, and a good concept doesn't save it from being bad... but a good idea is still a good idea, just have to execute it differently.

What y'all think about the new Episode of TADC
• flashing pictures that might mean something (didn't last time)
• where Cain goes off the deep end and Jax losses his "skin"
• Cain and his adventures are implied to be worse cause Bubble/Zooble antagonized him
• Bubble called Cain a lozer and Cain basically goes "nu uh".
•Kinger kills Cain by being hackerman
That's about it

Why do all my countrymen have asperger's?

Why do I have asperger's for that matter?

Yeah the series is fucked. :story:
There's no way Episode 9 is going to redeem it, they've already fucked themselves over by avoiding the plot for so long. It's over, buddy.

It was alright. Torture scene should have gone harder bc we already knew Caine tortures them. Either torture the players more gruesomely or show their resilience in knowing the torture isn't "real."

The problem, imo, is the show uses a lot of its good ideas too early and then tries to reuse them for dramatic effect, but there's no impact (if you're paying attention) cuz it's already audience knowledge.

Good environments and pretty animation. The team does a good job at producing the show.

I hate Pomni's and Zooble's VAs tho.
