I remember a few years back playing Half-Life 2. I was at the part where the city pretty much has a war between the resistance and the Combine. After waiting for Alyx to open some gate, I was killed once I passed it. Upon my surprise from the game reloading an auto-save, I was still dead. Apparently upon getting killed, the game auto-saved and I was stuck just looking at some nearby buildings, all while the camera was on the floor. Such as funny bug that was despite the fact that it really sucks when you just want to go forward but you end up dead because you had to fight a bunch of Combine in a small area for a few minutes.
I've played Sonic 06 and Sonic Boom.
Sonic 06 got me to the point where it felt like a chore to simply play it. There were times when the levels would start where he'd just run off the stage in Crisis City and die, before I even got the chance to control him. Amazing.
I've also had a ton of Skyrim glitches, and I used to mess with Pokemon games a lot and I got them really buggy. Especially the older ones like Red/Blue/Yellow and Gold/Silver/Crystal.
So I was playing Assassin's Creed Rogue and I encountered an amusing glitch where my character "climbed up" while he was swimming. And I was immediately walking on water.
I just remembered that my first game of Civilization V was almost ended when a mountain's texture glitched and created a massive vortex of junk graphics that grew turn by turn and eventually consumed several citystates, all of the world's oceans and most of England.
The mountain belonged to Monaco. God dammit, Monaco.
Kinda came to me earlier that I did have an encounter with a bug. Don't know if it was in the actual game or from the emulator I played the rom on. When I played Shadow Tower Abyss on my current computer, an NPC I came across was breathing only for text to say dead. It makes sense since he's suppose to be alive when you see him from a wall until actually meet him in which he is dead by then. Kinda bummed at it since I honestly expected some dialogue to give either exposition on the situation or just random words like "please help" or "I don't wanna die here".
I shot some asshole in Metal Gear Online so hard today he went flying through a wall off the map. Still got the points for the kill though so all is well.
I've found tons of places in Dark Souls where you can get enemies to fall through the floor. In the Catacombs it's kind of useful for the wheel skeletons, but most of the time it just results in me losing some loot.
It's pretty much impossible to boot up Skyrim, FO3 or New Vegas without encountering a fuckton of glitches.
This is an interesting one from Banished, back when the game was first released. I'm still not entirely sure what happened. We had plenty of clothes and firewood, but one winter everyone just... froze to death. It was like my entire town stripped naked and ran out into a blizzard.
As you can tell only like two adults survived. I stuck it out for a few more years hoping some nomads would show up, but none ever did.
