If you thought the Germans were crazy i present you the dutch lunacy in midst of food crisis and food skyrocketing prices they decided to proceed with the new nitrogen rules to reduce nitrogen by 30-70% government btw it would make third of the 50k farms to shut down .

Dutch Farmers Livid Over EU's 'Green' Nitrogen Rule Block Border Between Holland And Germany

Thousands of tractor-driving Dutch protesters came out this week to continue demonstrations against the government's radical plan to cut nitrogen emissions by 30% - 70% as part of their 'green' agenda.

There will be even bigger protests apparently after this government fucked the real estate market so badly that the shortage worsened now the food is on the list lol

Not the Dutch. It's the EU doing it. Some dickheads in Brussels decided this was a good idea and decreed it by fiat and the member states have no choice but to enact it. The dickheads at the EU will never face any consequences, the people can get mad at their government but the entire system is designed to spread the responsibility around so that no one has to ever take fault in it.

LMAO they really fucking are going ahead with Sri Lanka-tier organic bullshit. But since it's the EU, the only people who gain will be farmers in the US since they'll be the ones who get to cover Europe's food deficit. The theory that all the sanctions against Russia and hardline stance to wage a proxy war in the Ukraine was meant to cripple Europe and force them into American dependence is looking more and more true every day. Deviously evil shit.

Oh yeah, enjoy even higher food prices Americans because we'll be paying for the EU's fertilizer retardation just like we pay for most of their military.

Don't worry, the Germans are gunning for the history books with their retardation right now.
Gas reserves dwindling, massive energy crisis imminent, power generation is supposed to be basically nothing but wind and solar, but the already ridiculous energy prices and regulations killed the solar industry years ago, and now the last manufacturer for wind turbine wings has moved their production to India.

Just remember: all this is the expected outcome after democrats started socializing america in the 60's.

30’s. Every modern day leftist wants to be the next FDR, with income taxes at 90%, the Supreme Court packed to hell and signing off on any unconstitutional law in front of them, confiscation of gold, companies forced to operate at a loss, and of course doing everything in their power to go to war with the designated evil enemy nation. FDR is their god, because he did everything that they want to do in the present.

Of course they have a choice. What's the EU going to do about it if the Dutch just thumb their noses and tell it to eat shit like Hungary does with the rapefugees? Nothing, because there's nothing they can do.

It is just telling as the Netherlands is the world's 5th largest exporter of food. It is something to visit, farms and greenhouses everywhere. Now they are trying to break it all while whining about the famine in Africa and the shortages coming of food to the West. Makes sense...

Wasn’t the GDP forecast -1% just a few days ago?

The suffering is part of the design, not a flaw but a feature.
The goal is getting a majority of people to go "Yes sure fine whatever make it stop already" when it comes time to own nothing and be happy.
I'm getting sick of that phase as its abundantly apparent that there is no "and be happy" part.
It really should just be said how it is: "You will own nothing and be compliant."

It's been two months at negative, so we're now officially in a recession.

Since we're now officially in a recession, there's no more need to cook the books to try and prevent the number from being negative twice in a row.

Expect that GDP number to crater over the next few months.

Pretty sure you know things are going bad when corporations are looking for idiots to be left with the bill
There are more tells than that, actually.

John Rothchild right before the 2000 dot-com bubble popped said:
Bernard Baruch described the scene before the big Crash...
Bernard Baruch right before the 1929 'Big Crash' said:
Taxi drivers told you what to buy. The shoeshine boy could give you a summary of the day's financial news as he worked with rag and polish. An old beggar who regularly patrolled the street in front of my office now gave me tips and, I suppose, spent the money I and others gave him in the market. My cook had a brokerage account and followed the ticker closely.
...are we at the same fatal stage in the market today, when people who aren't expected to have stock tips have stock tips, including hot dog vendors, shoeshine boys, the homeless, pedicurists, barroom dancers, toll takers, and the trumpet player at the racetrack? Will stock prices fall off the cliff under the weight of enormous popularity?
Astute readers will notice that we are at that exact same point yet again.

That's odd. In Hungary the Euro has around 125% value of 1 american dollar, or the dollar was worth 0.8 euro. So a very stable 4-5 ratio.

And it always kept that relation.
It is bizarre, but I got Euros at a 1 USD / to .96 Euro exchange. That's the best I've ever seen in my time going over there (10 years). It was the only reason I decided to go this year. I thought it would've been worse. The Euro is not doing well apparently.
