Infected goanimate spergs

More or less the same - if anything, one thing I've learned is that the audiences for these videos are notoriously quick to bore. If you don't publish material for them, then the kiddos quickly disappear, only to quickly come charging back the moment something new is put on their plate. This should explain why these channels have to pump out material on such a regular basis - it's simply a case of trying to hold on to the people who find it interesting, I suppose.
Doesn't surprise me one bit. It's like the modern era of the Nielsen rating system.

i thought goanimate grounded videos was a dead genre

how are they still going...

...and how do these videos still manage to pull off 100K views?
Too bad the "Autism" emoji is gone or I'd use it here. But I'm sure it has a lot to do with all of this.

Holy shit, I didn't think this was still a thing. I remember some kid I was in High School with made some of these vids. Kid wasn't the Brightest knife in the crayon box. I forgot his account but he made some that were targeted towards teachers or students. Of course he didn't get many views considering it wasn't like Caillou or any other GoAnimate punching bag. I wonder where he is now.

I accidentally found the entire goanimate/grounded community years ago, when it was in its prime I'd assume. (maybe 2013-14)

I was absolutely baffled by it and thought it was one of the strangest things I had ever stumbled across. All of the "grounded videos" were completely stupid and weird as fuck, pointless and nonsensical. My confusement grew stronger when I realized there were this really big community surronding these videos, in sort-of a rabbithole way.

In order to genuinely understand and find humor in these fucked up videos. You need to be pretty high on the autism spectrum, fairly young and extremely sheltered. If you don't match that criteria you're out of the fucking loop on these videos completely.

It's not so much "enjoyment" as it is "fascination."

... Okay, it's amusement. These people have their own fascinating little world of groundings and cartoon characters and it's like lifting up a rock to see a village of magical mushroom fairies living underneath. I love these videos. They're so strange and stupid and bad and that's why they appeal to me.

Here, have some heart-wrenching drama, a tragedy in three parts.

EDIT: I forgot part four. It's a tragedy in four parts.

So that's how they made it's always sunny in Philadelphia app game.

wow

If there's anything I still remember from the GA days, it's the complete and utterly brazen bullshit that is their meltdown when their favorite themes, Comedy World and some other stick figure theme, were removed entirely from GoAnimate, much of the reason allegedly relating to that a majority of the videos made using the themes violated GoAnimate's TOS/TOU. Dunno if that's been documented on this thread or not, but if not I do still remember many details from it (as a former GoSperg; thankfully I'm not one anymore).

Some of the spergout was documented, but it's nice to know the reason they were removed.

Recently found a pretty strange use of Vyond, IMO. It's not groundings or a business tutorial video. It is literally an audio track from a prophetic discussion with the scenes changing out every few minutes:
Example:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1DL1k0iWaN7KOYb_N1WdgQ/videos
The channel these are hosted on recently started to steal the audio tracks(Audio Source: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOcxxWkbqDn6TiFcez9XUPQ/videos). Before that it was Turkish gaming videos. I guess it's another case of trying to siphon those sweet, sweet, current year U.S Apocalypse views.

I mainly heard about goanimate youtubers from Ottomagic Critic's commentaries and a few others, there's older goanimate top videos about why they don't like a number of users, with violent poorly animated deaths of those hated users as a transition with edgy music in the background.
A good example is John Song.
I'm not sure if anyone else had talked about this. Please let me know.

Oh, these! I discovered these on Youtube a couple years back and was amazed. They're so stupid and weird. They feature characters from preschool shows and often have the same plot and even lines.
