So with Godzilla vs Kong actually getting released the rumor mill is that the final villain that Godzilla and Kong have to team up against to fight is going to be Mechagodzilla.

On that note which is your personal favorite Mechagodzilla?
My vote is Kiryu just because those shoulder rocket pods of his are fucking dope and I hope the new movie includes them if Mechagodzilla is in the movie.

Okay but seriously, I've honestly never cared much for MechaGodzilla, think it's because I never really grew up watching the films with him 'cause I overlooked them for some reason. We had Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla and Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla II on VHS and I went "Naaaaah", and so it wasn't until I grew up that I finally got around to checking them out. And I think the concept's really cool, but Kiryu probably wins it for me. Actually basing the foundation on the bones of the original Godzilla only to have Mother Nature herself be upset about it is such a neat idea, and the millennium design is really gnarly. Turning him into a piloted mecha like MechaGhidorah is sweet, really, even if it risked taking away some personality (since it always seemed like MechaGodzilla had a mind of his own).

They should reconstruct Bryan Cranston's character as a cyborg, with a special chip that makes him become big like Jet Jaguar, and then he would be the final boss. Maybe next movie.

Oddly considering how kotm ended I would rather have mecha king ghidorah be the final baddie. Idk how much longer they can go on and when legendary's license experires but just go all out with this film.

If only we could get Gigan or Biollante in the Monsterverse.

Reportedly, the date's been moved up to March 26, and yet there's still no trailer in sight. It's worrying, honestly, but I'm still excited to see it regardless. I still hope it'll be fun, but it's quite possible this will be the last Legendary Godzilla movie and there'll be no renewals. There's this sinking feeling GvK will do financially worse than KOTM thanks to Chinese shenanigans fucking over the globe, but hopefully as a finale, it goes out on a high note where we'll then have to wait like another 20 years before another American Godzilla movie is green-lit.

Oh, just checked for pre-orders on Godzilla Dominion and Kingdom Kong, and saw some new artwork that may-or-may-not be the cover art. They're so good.

Looks like we have the final covers for Godzilla Dominion and Kingdom Kong. According to Amazon, Dominion gets 96 pages while Kingdom has 86. Ooh, you're short ten pages, Kong, buddy. Godzilla I guess needed extra to show off his girth.
