I'm a big fan of golf games and always have been,
there's something so relaxing about them, especially the ones with good graphics and nice sounds.
I've never played golf except for mini golf but the simulators are a great way to kill time and relax.
I'm a 90's style slacker so part of it is in my dna i guess lol.
It's given me an appreciation for the sport to a point where i enjoy watching it on tv.
anyways, this is my first thread(hope I'm doing it right), I mostly play Tiger Wood's pga golf tour for ps3.
are there any old or new golf games I should look into? what do you play? do you even like golf games?​

Welcome to the Farms, OP.

Believe it or not, I got a decent amount of mileage from Mario Golf for the GBC. I liked the RPG aspects which the original for N64 didn't have.

Also, Hot Shots Golf 1 & 2 for the PS1 was a good time as well. Haven't played any recent golf games, however.

The 2k golf game is enjoyable and has a lot of customizability its 20 bucks but if your interested I may have another key for it from humble bundle i just have to look.
I have 64 hrs in it and it was annoying at first but once you get into it its relaxing.

yeah that sounds pretty cool, i'll definitely look into it.
 
I still play Links 2004. The modding community is still massive, you can find just about every course in existence online. It's mechanisms are still the top of the class, simple and straightforward. It is a bit of a struggle getting the graphic glitches fixed due to running it on modern hardware.
 
Got any interest in VR? There's a bunch of golf games there. Not really my thing, but I noticed there were a surprising number when I was researching a bit ago.
