Good Actions thread - Good actions and nice gestures

I went to a career fair for students on a vacation day (which wasn't a career fair at all and was more of a hiring drive) and gave a few people who were rejected some interview tips and gave them my personal email so they could send me their resumes so I could tweak them and make them more attractive to people filtering applicants. I hope they can all get a job, they were good people despite all of them being dirty shitskins.

This is a story of a double good action.
Me being an accountant, my sister-in-law gave me her declaration of income for the taxes to fill. I am quite capable of doing it, but since I have been in this profession for more or less a year, I had my insecurities about it.
So, I fill it with her and take a good pair of hours - then say her I'll revise it and give it to her the next day. Once she's gone, I call my supervisor at work to ask him to check it for goofs and errors.
He was super kind and invited me at his home that night, not minding the fact that he had lots of real clients and was dead tired by evening. He went through it and not only found I had done it good, he also fixed a couple of datas so that my sister-in-law could detract 12000 Kc circa from her taxes.
When I informed her of that, she couldn't help but hug me and thank me for hours.

My husband protected me from a mountain lion that was stalking us while we were up in the mountains at night.

My younger cousin got less attention from her grandparents who spoiled her brother because he's the first born in her family. I took tons of the clothes I no longer wore and filled up a Hefty bag full of cool outfits. I sent it to her without telling her and when she got it she was really excited and thanked me.

The first time I went to see Stephen Fry in person we had a car but no money to pay for gas to drive to see the show he was in. A friend of my husband's paid for our gasoline so we'd be able to drive.

About two weeks ago, it snowed pretty hard and a guy from my apartment complex knew that since it was the weekend, the complex wouldn't come to shovel so he did it himself. I offered him some cupcakes in thanks, but he refused. Same goes for a neighbor who wanted to give him some money.
