You're better off watching it on youtube or pirating it. Snootgame is superior but is the parody that "4chan made better" than the original. If anything, throw money at Cavemanon for Wani Hug That Gator, the sequel(ish) to Snoot.
 
I honestly don't know if the original story for Goodbye Volcano High would have actually been any good.

At best, it would have been mediocre for the same reasons why Helluva Boss, Hazbin Hotel, and Steven Universe are mediocre. A well-liked work that aged horribly, and in the meantime, obtained an absolutely terrible fandom full of the most shallow manchildren possible.

I know the type of people who write any work like the above mentioned. They're shallow, degenerate people.

With that said, if any doomsday scenario did, or does pop up in a future Cavemanon release, it could happen in all of the endings, but in the best endings, the characters survive.

Imagine if GVH had multiple endings, and in the best ending, the cast survives the meteor impact, and watches as humans approach to help, including one or two bald-headed guy(s)....

Yeah, this isn't original, there's almost certainly a fanfic or two about it.

Obviously not lmao. But the sceipt we do have has a lot of potential to be salvaged from it. This cast is very interesting together, even if they all have some much needed adjustements to be made. Cavemanon proved that with snootgame.

I would take that over the GVH we have which is essentially an unfinished story that was pushed out the door.

It wasn't mentioned when it was brought back up but the leak doc does have three endings and in the good one everyone survives.

For me at least, to call Snoot Game a parody doesn't seem right. Snoot Game feels like a work of art in itself. The characters and the story were all crafted in such a perfect way that it felt like you were watching someone else's life play out in front of you.

I think that's a little over the top lol. But I agree that they offer a very uplifting window into a world depicted in a better place in culture than what we have now. Almost like a hybrid of the good aspects of today combined with those of the recent past. It's a great balance of fictional embelishment and realism. Frankly, the romantic apsect of Snootgame and Wani didn't interest me as much as the tight writing, the character substance and the overall tone and style of the game and writing. Both games are blatantly optimistic at every turn, but don't compromise in their depictions of tragedy. I hope Exit 665 is up to snuff.

It would have been Life is Strange tier trash, but GVH being such a disaster was the best possible outcome for everybody involved anyway.

KO_PE, and by extension, the rest of the world, got a very expensive lesson on how important narrative cohesion and versimilitude are to a game.
Snoot Game likely wouldn't have been such a success if GVH wasn't this bad.
The Fucking Leafs got one more thing to put on the scale of "funding DEI is retarded".

Call me optimistic, but I just hope KO_PE's next game is a disaster of similar amplitude, maybe that'll wake up the canadian government.
