It's been around 2 years since they revealed that game. at a "showcase" of a "next gen" system, you expect them to show off the Jesus SSD and ray tracing. But no, they show a shitty flash animation "game" that looks worse than something like Dragon's Lair from the 80s, at least those had funny death animations. Kinda just proves that this generation of consoles one of the most disappointing in terms of a leap of power.
 
Some talented shitposters made a better game that has been out for a year now. Also lol at the NFT thing -- they'd be making garish pastel colored NFTs of the characters if NFTs were actually profitable.

This isn't a NMS situation, I imagine they only ever showed this turd was because they desperately needed something to fill the run time and don't actually care about seeing the product come out.
 
I'm still baffled that of all freaking places /v/ took a liking to this disaster of a game, you think it being a combination of things they hate (furries, LGBTBBQWTFXYZ) would cause the opposite reaction and yet here we here are, one fangame that already came out and an original game by the same guy also starring dinosaurs that's in development (and also coming out before volcano high lmao).

Not to mention, the NMS team clearly has passion for their product, as it's still getting updates years down the line. I don't see that happening with GVH.

TLDR so far- Outside of the usual production hell issues, the creators have squandered any momentum/hype they may have had and keep crippling themselves while virtue signalling on twitter.

Supposedly, when the head writer got canceled by twitter, they decided it was a good business desicion to scrap all the work that was done and start from scratch while keeping the designs and concepts.

After like a year of nothing since the announcement at the PS5 reveal, 4chan decided to make a parody game and it was somewhat popular and well received. The creators of GVH got mad and started pissing themselves in frustration, they started purging their safe spaces (mainly discord) and not allowing people that they dont follow to reply to curb trolling. That eventually died down and the thread went inactive for a while.

Then we're here, almost at the 2 year anniversary and they're still hiring people to make the game that should've been released in 2021.

Edit: There was also a slapfight between 4chan powermods and /v. Basically Snoot Game thread kept getting purged by a powermod that was assmad that his beloved Smash threads weren't getting the attention he thought they deserved.

Autism + 2D blue balls is a powerful mixture. Not sure why there was such a thirst over Fang considering Deltarune released 2 years earlier and had a dinosaur girl with an actual personality but w/e, embarrassing a "professional" games studio this thoroughly is a serious accomplishment and my hat goes off to them.

My guess would be that Fang is like a goth-rocker-bad girl type, which let's be honest is something one can fall for.

You exaggerate and make gay representation your game's focal point, people are gonna hate it. You put it on the sidelines and make actually likable characters who so happen to be gay, people are gonna enjoy it. It's obviously the gamers who are wrong!
