This entire fuckin thing is literally just "How do you do fellow kids? What are your pronouns?" The girl who writes the newspaper columns (Naomi or whatever her name is) is almost worse than Trish.

I'm honestly amazed they dont even have a little demo prepared fot Steam fest. You'd think they would least cook up something to show as progress or to interest more people.

Why bother? I'm sure Ko-Op knows, deep in their heart of hearts, that anyone not already interested in their knockoff of Snoot Game isn't likely to be swayed by such a cheap Chinese cash grab, and the ones who are will defend it rabidly because there's really nowhere else to go once a a fanbase hits the point of ~uwu gay~ cultish investment.
 
This game still isn't out? We've had over two years, a bunch of memes, and one fangame/parody, and there's still not even much in the way of a demo available?

Wani hug that gator is aiming for the end of the year. Judging by the ammout of character art they're releasing and I'm seeing on the booru, they'll probably make that target.

Tell that to the devs. I think it's hilarious they keep trying to pretend their project isn't dead or that it isn't gonna be a flop and remembered as "that one terrible scalie VN that Snoot Game is based on."

the thread's certainly alive, but largely just a stream of people mocking it, mocking the developers' complete incompetence, discussing Snoot Game, and now I Wani Hug That Gator. It's been so long since announcement that it's turning into a Duke Nukem Forever situation, where the memes are becoming bigger than the game could ever be

This year's PS5 E3 show ended on The Last of Us getting another rerelease, but this time for $70, on a console that can already play the PS4 remaster. Goodbye Volcano High, I hate to say it, was more interesting than most of E3 this year. That's the quality we're dealing with nowadays.

If you took Goodbye Volcano High as an omen for things to come, you'd be right to do so. The PlayStation 5 isn't the same PlayStation as before. A bunch of creepy woke troglodytes in California sliced off PlayStation's face and are wearing its skin as a mask. It's time to climb high upon a mountain, find a volcano, and say goodbye to PlayStation.

You can also add that games like Uncharted, Spiderman, and even Last of Us 1 is coming to steam as well, so really the only game you have left on the PS5 is the new Ratchet&Clank game, as much as I enjoy that series, it's def, not worth buying a PS5 just for one game.

It's summer of 2022, where's the game KO-OP?
While I'm sure many of us knew that this thing would never be released, I personally was looking forward to laughing at the cringefest it would be. I unironically love to consume this kind of low-quality cringe in books or games as a brainless thing I can laugh at. So I might be a wee bit more disappointed that the parody of Snoot Game isn't releasing than most of the guys here. Oh well, maybe I'll play the true dino visual novel instead.
I gotta say, while this thread and the ValiDate thread reference each other a lot, at least Dani isn't shy about the fact that ValiDate is a visual novel. KO-OP wants to pretend to be bigwig developers, while having the maturity and coding skills of your average yansim fangame dev.
 
When do you think we will get a cope post about how chuds have sabotaged the game somehow and how it is canceled? I can just imagine that, for years they have sat in a discord server and the only work done on the game is, i made a logo tier stuff.
It would be a really good story to tell when it is all over about how a group of incompetents managed to get top billing from Sony and just fuck it all up.

Shows how pathetic the Volcano devs are. They clearly lack the passion, drive, and skills Cavemanon possesses.
