Well fat loser goes without saying he is a youtuber. Also didn't really assume he did a ton of hard journalism nobody else had done. All I know is that he does those and that they're reasonably entertaining background noise and that I haven't seen a thread about him on here.

Not about him specifically, and more focused on the two semi entertaining ones of the bunch, but there's a lot of his faggotry in there.

Do you think the game will ever see the light of day? Or has the controversy around when people first learned of the game been the meteor that ended any chase this thing ever comes out?
Drama could be a good reason as you say; at first the game was "Life is Strange, but with dinosaurs, more HIV+ minorities and in 2D" and got some people got interested, then all the controversy kicked in thanks to the LGTVHD+ community made the game more unappealing for people that like VNs and the game fell apart for most prospect customers.

I also feel that the engagement for this game is on life support, and KO_OP is in denial that this game may be a lost cause. If you check their twitter, you can see "Likes" that barely break the 100 barrier, yet they still pushing the game as if has a massive following.

Anecdotal, yet I think is not far from reality: most of my friends and internet acquaintances have not heard of this game, and the ones that did thought that it was already released, or just plainly forgot about it.

They're Canadian devs so if they've dipped their fingers into the Canada media fund (and I don't see how they could stay afloat without doing so) then they're going to be obliged to push something out even half finished.

Funny enough I keep forgetting this game exists until the thread is bumped. In my opinion anyone that was looking forward to GBVH jumped ship to snoot game fandom. Which might also be why people thought the game came out misremembering snoot game as GBVH. :story:

I hate to say it but the odds something remotely good comes from GBVH is so low that releasing a buggy half baked VN full of weirdness would make the game more popular and memorable then what ever bland game they are conceiving right now.

the kicker is that they did have a way to boost engagement and got given a literal golden opportunity to do so - snoot game.
instead of shunning it and hurting their reputation, they should've embraced it in some way and ridden the free publicity snoot game was giving them in a time where most people had forgotten that this GBVH was even a thing being developed.

i really do wish that i'll see this game released in my lifetime, either way it comes out it'll be a hell of an experience.
we know the writing will be comparable to hotdog water, the game is being lead by an inexperienced team meaning the amount of bugs in it will rival my ant colony, and the developers do have a habit of feeding the trolls and going into schizoid-like lockdowns of communities and social media pages they control.

It wouldn't surprise me if the management started outsourcing more and more of this game to a cheap indie "ghost developer" in Eastern Europe so any kind of progress could be made.

I predict that this choose-your-own-bullshit "game" will release at about the same time as Star Citizen, that being never.

If they're bound by contract with Sony to release a game it could get interesting though (Although they'll probably just pull a Chronicles of Elyria and dump anything they have that runs without crashing on the market).

Playstation has had quality control problems on their games for years now, come to think of it. Life of Black Tiger. Gilson Pontes' annual games. No Man's Sky (in it's original state) - and Gay Dino Story, if it ever comes out.

"Carefully curated selection" my ARSE!

PS: I don't even think these loser devs can make the excuse that they're artists and there weren't enough programmers to finish the project. Just looking at the stuff they released to brag I can see that they invariably fuck up objects' shadows(which pisses me off because I notice that error for some reason).

Hilarious thread. Don't know how I missed it.

Don't forget that the guy who made "The Demon Rush" all those years ago is still pumping out titles and they get featured on Sony's channel and everything.
The fight between Cherry Venus and the dreaded MMMMMMMMMMMM rages on...

(flashback)

If this game becomes a launch title for PS6, that would be hilarious.

Power level, but when this game was first shown, I was banned from one Discord server for saying it looked bad. The longer the game is vaporware, the funnier that gets to me.

As for what caused the delay. I don't think it was drama or anything like that. A bunch of talentless hacks took a bunch of money from the budget and produced nothing of worth. We saw this with many diversity projects. High Guardian Spice is probably the best example because that project was so mismanaged that despite several delays, they didn't have the scripts ready when they were shipped to the animators, the terrible writing was blamed on a lack of a funds, and so on.

They might blame the controversy if it is cancelled, but that won't be the real reason. I suspect that the "project leads" don't do any real work and are just "idea guys" who pawn all the work off on underlings, while also taking the lions share of the budget for themselves because they're the leads.

I suspect the game will be quietly released at some point.

well you see they do important work, such as defending the game online and encouraging the growth of the projects scope to unfathomable levels.
they are more than deserving of that 67% revenue share, the coders just write stuff in their fancy notepad and the artists scribble in mspaint in comparison to them.

You forgot the bonuses. Got to give themselves nice and healthy bonus for all the hard work they do pretending like anyone outside of a literal handful of people care about the game.

The funniest thing about discount Snoot Game is that the longer they wait, the worse it's going to be.

Popular market is trending back to the right, due to SJW products continuous low quality, and the normies waking up to the fact it'll never be enough. Just look at Bros and Girl King, or whatever that stupid shit was, and even peoples visceral hatred of that 'eternity' faggot in the SF6 beta.

The longer they wait, the less leeway they'll get for being stunning and brave, and that just tickles me.

So my question is, what exactly do the zoomers in the Discord talk about? (I know, I know, "queerness") but any "fans" this game has picked up have been in limbo for two years with an iota of progress shown. Granted, I was a fan of yansim for like 7 years, but yansim at least had an actual sandbox to fuck around in, and there were always people creating mods, or their own characters to worldbuild with. KO-OP gives out as much content as those shitty yansim clones, aka "I slapped this together in blender for ten minutes so you'll think I'm actually achieving something."

Like all these ones.

This video was 2 years ago ( also lol apparently kiwi farms users has tried to throw together a clone or two)

Yandere sim for what ever reason has a unique blend of autistics it vaccums up into the fandom. Fuck at this point doesn't FNAF have more finished fangames that are basically just FNAF 1 again then yandere sim has finished clones( or finished games lol)?

Yes, KF users tried to make one called Love Me. You can actually see them conceptualize it in the yandere simulator thread (the one for the game, not Alex).
I've done it on the yansim fangames thread, and I guess I will here too, but I always talk about how the FNaF fanbase always makes pretty good games, and I could recommend tons that are very unique and have great mechanics. I'd also say they're drama-free, and don't have anything against the dev, but that's sadly not true, because some shit in the fanverse went down this summer, which could be it's own thread.
Okay, I'll stop rambling about FNaF before someone slaps me with one of Fang's very broken arms.

This game is never coming out, but I want it to come out just for the dunks, LOLs and memes. As soon as it was shown to being the creation of danger hairs, it's path of indie developer failure was set. This type of development team always care more about telling everyone they are a game developer than actually being a game developer and putting out a finished product.
"Give me the asspats in advance please"
