By the time this game actually gets released (if it ever does) i doubt there will be any GVH stans left.

Yeah, that's why i said that i hope the creators will be able to control themselves, especially considering that school's reputation.

Well, there's nahual already, he's probably gonna be this game's Reed

That game has the potential to be either an even bigger of a shitpost than Snoot Game ever was, or to be a quite dramatic and emotional story about teenagers trying to deal with their lives the best they can.

Compare that to GVH, a game made by privileged people living in a bubble, considering how GVH lacked any meaningful conflict and all characters had first-world problems at worst.

I this VN made by spics eventually releases, the difference between it and GVH is going to be night and day.
GVH not being relevant is KOOP's fault. The one game they're known for is six hours and everyone dies at the end, so they can't expand the universe in any meaningful way. I doubt the fandom will even exist in a few months.

I hope if this winds up finished, it gets an English translation, maybe with an accompanying guide for smelly, uncultured gringos like me to understand the references.

You're in luck

I can't tell the artist draws porn from these designs though, but I can tell it's a furry artist.

I've browsed the artist's Twitter, and yes, there's NSFW stuff. So, like i said before, hope they're able con control themselves, because i really want that game to be finished, to be something actually worth playing.

Late and gay, but: my brain mixed it up with Fear&Hunger somehow.
I still liked it tho.
Sure it was derivative as fuck but thr gameplay was solid, programmimg alongside execution being pretty solid and had some ideas that I would love to see applied on triple A titles, like the whole dismemberment thing.

Pretty sure that's not what happened. Can't tell if that post is serious or just satire.
thing is GVH defenders are all the same, troon furries with questionable pfp parroting the same trite fake arguments again and again and excusing themselves with dumb shit when cornered with truth if is a troll or not only time will tell
the reason why i replied with a sarcastic squidward

Its funny because im pretty sure only like three people total deadname her and its not even out of malice but only because they dont fully understand her

And also like
She only reasserts being called Lucy in the tradwife ending that is not entirely good for her, in the best ending where she mends her friendships she reasserts her identity as Fang because it ultimately was a part of her even if it was only because of the desire to be a gender special

it's clearly someone who hasn't played a second of Snoot but is regurgitating what other regressive circles have been saying about it.

Give me your puzzle pieces, because here comes an unpopular opinion

That always kind of bugged me in Ending 4 to be honest, like you said

Not only that, she pretty much was at her worst at that point in life, aggressive, confrontational, selfish, self-centered, prone to self-harm, pretty much a bitch to anyone but Reed and Trish, and above all things, a ticking time bomb. Seeing her to overcome her issues and grow as a person, but somehow still keeping the name she used when everything started to go downhill for her, feels weird.

At least, if i remember correctly, in the last scenes of E4, everyone stopped calling her Fang, and pretty much only Anon keeps calling her that name by the end, and most likely in the epilogue when they have Amber, they both stopped using that name.

I think i've said before in this thread, if Cavemanon ever decides to make a sequel of Snoot Game, something probably set several years after the ending, i hope Lucy no longer goes by "Fang", the name she used when she pretty much was larping as a non-binary, when she's already older and probably had another kid besides Amber, that would be cringy at the very least.

I think its a way to have something that was still "hers" even if Trish's genderspecial autism was one of the things that made her go down that path, it was the identity she had when she made her first gig, met anon, started getting along with Naser, etc

I think they kept her as Fang when the tradwife path keeps her as Lucy to demonstrate how choosing her birth name ended up isolating her from her friends even if to an extent they deserved it, instead of the mending and compromise in the 4th ending

Now, I might be misremembering, but I recall that ending had everyone had moved on from that and had all been calling her Lucy by that point. Lucy herself was cringing really hard at Anon still calling her Fang and being embarrassed by her time as Fang.

Granted, I played that a couple of months ago with all the updates up to that point.

Don't know what you are talking about chief

This is what I played and what makes sense to me. Her "holding to Fang" in the best ending would be fucking pathetic, in the same way the dude "that was called the bullet when he ran the final touchdown" is pathetic. It was a cute callback to her past from Anon that holds the name more dearly, but Lucy cringed at it like any self respecting adult should, specially her since like stated by another poster, this was her worst moment of her life till Anon helped her out of the gutter.
