Well, this is unexpected

Honestly love cross promotions like this, I know Pizza Tower is popular on 4chan so it getting love from another project like Wani is what image boards should be about.

Why does he act like he's some kind of canon wizard, lmao.

Because it's the only thing he has.
The only thing that nakes him happy.
The only thing that makes him feel important.
Or anything, to be honest.
What else would you expect from someone that pays to potray himself as a long haired wolf with giant breasts and, small penis and the pedophile trans flag?

That and tamagotchis. There's a new furry game called On Your Tail that's just been announced, it looks like he's starting to hyperfixate on that as well.

You know, KO_OP fucked up big time by ensuring GVH was a one-off thing. The fandom is small, sure, but the few fans it has are diehards who are hungry for more content, so they only have to gain from making more content for Nanaki and co to salivate over.
Except it made a massive loss.

And said GVH fanbase doesn't seem to be all that interested into making more content. While Snoot Game is still getting fanart, fanfiction, mods and two spiritual successors on the way.

Not to mention that Snoot Game got popular among the spics, way beyond GVH's reach.

And that is the most damning thing about GVH. A genuinely creative work inspires others to implicitly collaborate, by creating successor works themselves. GVH inspires nothing but a sort of close-minded tribal defensiveness. It's influence has been to cause people to actually cut themselves off from the creativity of the Snoot Game and its community.

GVH is in fact the work of anti-creativity. You see this again and again with works of the gender ideology. They try to erect walls and say "you aren't allowed to enjoy this". Their believers try to invade fandoms and drive out everyone who disagrees with them. They can't compete with genuinely creative works, so they want them censored and gone. You could say that GVH has dark energy, or that it is touched by the Unholy Spirit, or that it is the manifestation of one or more cluster B personality disorders, or whatever you want, but there is just something fundamentally wrong with it that readily becomes apparent when set side by side with its superior competitor.

I think part of that is due to this snowflake-y mindset that a lot of fandoms seem to have adopted recently. You can't criticize anything about le popular media or else you're a Big Meanie who's ungrateful to all the poor greedy companies who are creating said content. One of the most infamous examples lies in the whole debacle with TLOU2's shitty story, despite the fact that Naughty Dog crunched it's workers to release the damn game. You can't criticize all these half-assed Marvel, Star Wars, or soulless remakes that Disney is shitting out, despite the fact that Disney has a chokehold on the creative market. RWBY fans have a massive meltdown every Thursday over someone not liking the show, despite the fact that it's not even good enough to be mainstream anymore. Stuff like this also leads towards this aggressive attitude towards stuff like rewrites or AUs. It's pretty obvious that creativity has been severely lacking in the industry in the past several years, and all of this "Don't think, just CONSOOM" mentality that the basement-dwellers who actually like this blige keep pushing is stifling the efforts of smaller creators who want to deliver something new.

Not as far as the employees are concerned, they still got paid by the Canadian Government. And well, state funded projects are magical money that comes from happy land, so nobody really lost! :christine:
I seem to recall reading earlier in the thread that the Canadian government gives money for projects like this up front, and then demands a cut of the profits if they exceed a certain amount. Meaning, that they are literally penalized if they are actually successful. Thus, the incentives are to do exactly what GVH did: pay the people in charge an amount of money and benefits wholly out of line with their actual ability, stretch things out to m-i-l-k those inflated salaries as long as possible, then release a game that no one cared about to universal indifference and no actual profit, ensuring the government won't show up to demand any of that money back.

The result is the ability to pose as a "game developer" for status with one's peers while enjoying a high pay, high benefits, high vacation, low effort "job". I doubt very much that the program has ever resulted in a single even half-decent game, but it has undoubtedly resulted in tens of millions of Canadian dollars in hipster welfare to trannies and other politically favored groups to do a hobby badly as a "job".
