So I have been googling a lot of people from my past. Mainly family and high school.

I am a bit freaked out over by how many people in high school I knew either died or have been arrested. Its honestly astonishing.

So, how many of you have done this and as a result found out something that shocked you?

Biggest shock for me: One jock actually made it into the NFL... then got shot.

Biggest Letdown for me: My highschool bully has 3 kids.

Biggest WTF Moment: One kid I knew in highschool who was basically like chris is still in my town. Working at a supermarket...

I decided to visit him and all I got was a "College is suckers" thing.

So, how about you?

I went to high school with Aaron Hernandez (oh noes, you'll all know my high school now :o )
So he kinda falls into all three of your categories.
Also googling him does not make me a creeper.
Googling other people doesn't seem to get any actual results.

Been out of high school for less than a year and my friends are going to college with me.

Apparently the boy I had a crush on in kindergarten is now into hardcore gangster rap and works at the Krusty Krab. Man, did I know how to choose 'em.

Some of the people I grew up with look like bigger versions of their old selves...still got the haircuts and all.

This one guy that pushed me around in High School got his girlfriend pregnant and works at Wal-Mart. Acts like a proud father but didn't bother to marry her. Fucking idiot.

Another guy that pushed me around is a gang member and is currently in jail. Has a Facebook page where he gloats about being human trash. I don't know what I expected.

And last one I bothered looking for is played college football and does a lot of programming work. I would describe this guy as someone that everybody liked in High School and got along with everybody regardless of clique, so I hope for the best for him.

I occasionally google ex girlfriends when I think about them.

Most of the time I don't find much since the girls I typically ask out are anti-social. But one got back together with her ex-boyfriend and has a tumblr about how depressed she is.

I dunno why that makes me feel fulfilled in some way. I'm a terrible person.

Google Keith Wayne Cotter sometime. He's the kid that beat me up all the time when I was young.

Did he piss on your rug afterwards?

I know someone like that, but he didn't push me around (nobody got pushed around at my school because there are no pushovers in Texas). It's only been a year since we left high school and he's steadily on the way to becoming a fucking loser. I don't like the guy at all, but it's really sad to watch it all unfold. He complains about his mom all the time, has his girlfriend and child living with her, and then leaves the house for extremely bullshit reasons (I swear, he once left because his mom told him to wash his hands before eating). He actually left again recently only to bitch about everything on facebook and beg for his family back (because he didn't want to have to visit his mom in the hospital or something).

That would describe me and most everyone I knew in high school. High school was full of friendly people. Even Mexican gangbangers were a lot of fun to hang around with. At least the ones that didn't get themselves in too much trouble. We didn't have people we'd target and harass, but we did have people we'd look down on and avoid for doing too much coke, having too much sex, being part of a gang, etc.

What is it about the middle names "Wayne" and "Lee" that make people pyschos?

White trash upbringing?

I do this every now and then. Only one of note is this guy from high school that was a total douche. Last I looked there was a Facebook page solely devoted to his mugshots. Truly a class act.

Technically not googling but I found out from a friend that two teachers I had were arrested for rape.

Holy shit.

Many of the catty, bitchy, Wanna-be-gangbanger girls who made my life hell during school became teen pregnant (some several times) and fatter, and never went to college. Ha. I just feel sad that they've reproduced!

One of my childhood best friends died in a car accident. Then, five years later, his dad died of a stroke. The mom's still alive. I feel really bad for her.

One of my high school gal-pals became a model. Which is amazing because she's seriously like 4'10".

One guy I went to college with died in a shotgun accident. You see, his dog had puppies that he didn't want, so he took the liter into his back yard and started shooting them. After killing a couple of the pups, he leaned his shotgun against a tree stump--and it went off in his face, killing him instantly. Sometimes, karma is instant.

A lot of people from high school are either engaged or married already (some are married while still going to college!) and then you have me who rather at the very least get my bachelor's before I consider marriage. I'm 20 FYI... I remember joking with my one friend who got married in June (in a matter of two months after getting engaged and still going to college) that she makes me feel like an old maid.

I used to feel bitter about it, but I really don't care anymore. All I know is that the odds are stacked against them.

Most of the folks from my class are either married and/or have children, although some are in jail or have been to jail for drug related reasons.

The kid who beat you up all the time when you were young. Was he the guy who got sent to juvie then when he grew up, he sold out a white supremacist group and is currently hiding from them or something? Keith Wayne Cotter is they guy who was your personal lol-cow, right?

I've cut ties with almost everyone in high school and don't care to look them up. My friends from high school I know are all doing well thankfully.
