Who exactly was Clunka referring to when she called upon “Black Twitter”? Petty Fam? If so, I wouldn’t hold my breath that they’d have something to say.

One of the reasons I never fully warmed to them, even though I do sometimes enjoy their streams, is that they tend to chicken out on reacting to current events. They wait until AFTER someone has moved into full lolcow status, and after other reactors have beaten the subject to death. They did it with Callie and DC - when the milk was fresh and flowing, and they were making their descents into the pasture (arguably the most interesting part of lolcowdom), Petty Fam hedged their public opinions. It wasn’t until they reached ALR and Chantal levels of dislike that Petty Fam finally joined in. It’s weak.

They’re doing the same thing now with Sam and Yaba. I was watching BGTV’s reaction to Ron’s recent “it’s all about me!” stream and it was hilarious how much BGTV went out of his way to avoid the elephant(s) in the room. He prefaced the reaction by saying that “so many things” were happening. He wasn’t going to get into certain topics (Yaba and Sam) but there are other reactors you can go to for that tea. When Sam’s DMs with Lava were up on the screen, BGTV started to say something general but stopped himself and actually said “I’m not even going to go there in case people think I’m talking about something I shouldn’t be talking about.”

So… you’re reacting to Ron trying to make the situation all about him, but you can’t utter a word about what the underlying situation is? I generally like BGTV but he was a real pussy in this stream.

Taryn went to the woman's home and "drenched" pepper spray on the doors and windows, according to a Facebook message by Taryn. Fatima's children in the front room become sick, along with the woman babysitting them, while Fatima is serving a customer in the back. In November, Taryn is arrested in November and charged with 3 Level 6 felonies, later reduced to Class A misdemeanors.

The arrest went down in late November, 2021. We know one daughter had her cocaine freakout on Thanksgiving 2020, Sam ruined Christmas 2021 by being SICK yet again, and now another daughter went to jail right before Christmas (bitch) because she's a fucking lunatic and tried to mace a whole house three months after a nail appointment was cancelled. Yaba's holidays have become a lot more interesting since Sam moved in.

This talk about Lil Mama and that Rosie lady kind of puts recent events into perspective. No wonder Scam and Yaba were so cagey and defensive about Belinda’s fundraisers - there doesn’t seem to be a fundraiser, or news of someone’s illness and/or death, that these two haven’t picked apart. They always go too far as well, like calling the funeral home to make sure Lil Mama had, in fact, died.

ETA: read this with a critical eye because I think my timeline is off by at least a day and am questioning who Sam called. Does anyone recall the date this happened? It was on Yaba ‘s live.

I'm fairly certain Sam called the coroner. Sam found the info the morning after the death was announced, like hours after the woman's body was removed from the trailer. Lubbock is a big town - the coroner isn't attached to funeral homes there and Lil Mama's death would have required an autopsy. So tldr, Sam called the coroner, not a funeral home. Not sure if it makes any difference. just being fussy with lore.

I begin to wonder if Yaba hasn't (just) gained a hundred pounds in the two years since she's been on camera. Could it be the real problem is that she's as bald as Chantal now? She always wore a hat and her forehead was awfully high in her old avi before she made a cartoon of herself with a lustrous head of hair.

When I really enjoyed Sam and Yaba, even then I was taken aback by how often they discussed eating out. Every day it seemed like they went out to purchase a meal, got coffees, were constantly running to the supermarket (the latter not that surprising since there are three kids in the house). Sam often spoke in length about what Yaba planned to cook for dinner - they talked about food a lot. Early in relationships, people often gain weight because they go to restaurants on dates and such, but it seemed like Sam and Yaba were reinforcing destructive eating habits. You get two fat women living together, friends or partners, and they gain weight. Always. I suspect Yaba is significantly larger than she was during the days when she cammed up.
