I listened to about 60 seconds of Yaba today (so if there's more context to this, someone please let us know), but it looks like she's planning to contact the Canadian embassy in Kuwait ("we'll give her till Friday") and call Chantal's mother ("next week").

I assume she wants to strike anyone who uses her "government name." It's a stupid hypothesis, because she uses Telfer in her YouTube email and even called herself Telfer in her last livestream; then again, Sam is a stupid person. It was also her OGDC handle (I noticed Owl and MFW tend to use Tefler rather than Telfer). Perhaps she's just getting back to her roots.

Her most recent streams have been under "Tefler", before all the Shamrocks cringe she was "Tefler", her merch store has "Tefler" in the name.
She mostly uses Tefler - the only current exception being her Twitter handle - so she can bitch that people use her government name instead of her nickname when someone accidentally calls her Telfer. Very mature.

@Oh My Lard, you're not wrong. And if it feels stupid, it is (good rule in general for Gorl World, ha ha). She had no problem sharing her name when she wanted to make a point about other people being deliberately anonymous. Around Xmas/New Year's, she was throwing her name around -- in the Shame on You livestream, for instance, where she read through her various court hearings -- because she wanted to make a point about people (i.e., Farmers) hiding behind avatars and screen names. Sam Telfer has nothing to hide!

THEN, when she and Yaba got mad about people reacting to them, what does Sam do? She removes all of the content wherein she shares her PII and goes back to the Tefler handle. It is absolutely ridiculous, but it's also a pattern in the community I find very interesting (and stupid, of course).

When someone elects to "cam up," suddenly it's a problem when others elect not to (Yaba, for instance, once had strong feelings about reactors who don't appear on camera -- now, it's a YoMama talking point). If a reactor goes by their name or shares intimate details of their life, it's a problem when other reactors don't ("what are they hiding?") Social media has been a wild ride -- once, you were advised to be anonymous online (as much as possible); now, you're viewed with suspicion if you do. Give it time, Telfer will be back when she's mad enough at the Farms again, ha ha.

The switching between Telfer, Tefler, Dowls, Dowles, Samantha, Sam is typical of people who have criminal records, bad credit reports or general fuckshit on the internet. Whether done purposely or merely taking advantage of errors, having several "legal" names comes in handy if anyone is doing a cursory background check.

It could be a common thing used by low level scammers, slightly altering the spelling to claim wrongful identification. See also : Sovereign Citizens and other assorted idiots.
The whole 'government name' carry on is Sov Cit, stolen from the early civil rights movement.

Thank you for saying this. Sam's been giving me big Sov Cit vibes with a lot of her history/behavior. Based on their posts, I assume she absorbed it from MiVocal during her "activism" phase.
