Being fucked in the head is not enough to get off on an insanity plea.
There is an old joke, "Does the defendant know the difference between a judge and a grapefruit? if so, he is fit to stand trial"
Insanity pleas have extremely high bars to meet, people with skitzophrenia, bipolar disorder, autism, meth-fried brains, and other serious psych disorders go to prison all the time. Do you know what you were doing is wrong? That is the only question that matters.
Insanity is out of the question, even for chris.
Not an insanity plea, I mean literally question the foundation of the case resulting in Not Guilty. Knowing Chris, I'd be surprised if Heilburg could convince him to take a plea deal.

Thanks for the response. I understand the part about the Grand Jury, but he has to have been held on a charge for the last year. Going to a Grand Jury would mean they would be considering further charges is how it reads to me. If he stays on the misdemeanor then his max is 1 year which means he would have to be released while the legal system continues to try him, wouldn't he?

No, it can be for the incest charge. It's what's needed for them to proceed with felony incest. Remember the incest charge *is* a felony, it's only a misdemeanor if they don't indict. For some reason they didn't indict until now, which was basically the deadline if they wanted to keep him in jail for it. (Though they could have just stacked on other charges for other acts if they had evidence, and kept him in jail for those).

If there's a god in heaven such a statue would trap any ween that climbs inside it and start up a furnace below it like a fucking Brazen Bull, bellowing sounds of tard rage as the ween is slow-cooked to death.
No need. When Chris dies all the weens will throw themselves on the funeral pyre like Indian widows.

Personally, I'm hoping everything and anything that could go wrong will go wrong. That every person Chris has ever interacted with over the years is subpoenaed and that the case will become such a clusterfuck that it somehow goes to the Supreme Court. I want to see Clarence Thomas forced to watch videos of Chris drinking his own cum and Breyer listening to Virgin with Rage, I want Amy Barret to watch Chris fuck a blow up doll. I just want it to go big and spiral out of control, I'm hoping it becomes bigger than the O.J. trial.
people whine about the seinfeld finale but it clearly is the best way to end anything.

Even in prison, and the state prisons around there are chock full of niggos, they'll even view him maybe the same or worse than a child rapist since even the most hardcore black (or shit, white) felon is still going to love their mother, and wouldn't give it a second thought to beat the shit out of Chris if they get a chance. Apparently it's a thing in prison with pedophiles and sex offenders, where if given the chance, an inmate is almost required to attack them if they're able to.
I know it’s a common myth that sex offenders get beaten and raped and shit in prison, but that’s really all it is for the most part. A myth.

DeAndre and Jermaine aren’t going to give a shit if some honkey banged his mom or some cracker ass grandma got raped. They want to do their 3-5 and get back out and smoke some rocks.

Jimmy Joe likewise isn’t going to risk another decade added to his sentence or risk his parole hearing to beat up some weird tranny.

The only exception might be if someone is literally already facing life behind bars and/or likes to kill for fun, but those types tend to be locked up in Supermax jails and isn’t someone Chris (nor most prisoners) will come across.

And hey, plenty of the inmates are there for degenerate shit as well so…

Don’t believe me? Go to Reddit that has a subreddit for convicted sex offenders. (I know, shocker right?) Many of them have been through the system and say the same thing to everyone panicking about going to the big house: Keep your head down, do your time and you’ll be fine.

You can but there are some strict requirements (generally speaking you only get court-appointed counsel if you are indigent so it's unlikely Chris could afford to hire a capable lawyer).

I know you basically have to prove that your counsel is so ineffective it's depriving you of your Constitutional rights, or there are such irreconcilable differences between you that it has a similar outcome.

I think for the attorney to resign it's the same situation but in reverse, i.e. they are not able to effectively aid in their client's defense.
Considering the fact that Barb was a giant whore, could the attorney cite a conflict of interest if he had banged her himself?

Does Barb still have the original autism papers? Weens would probably pay for those.
The autism papers are the only thing of interest in there to me. If only to fill in some blanks during the childhood years.

As far as any diagnostic importance, they’re pretty much irrelevant at this point. His updated autism papers from the psych ward are the new sexy.

So is there any chance they purposefully didn't indict him until now so Chris would spend more time in jail?
This goes against the defendant's right to a speedy trial (unless the defense is fine with it), right? Or am I just retarded?

Chris waived his right to a speedy trial when he asked for the first continuance.

The time incarcerated ultimately would be the same.

Judging from when the grand juries are convened, if they were holding off charges on their end they probably would have put it to the grand jury the last time the were called. (Not necessarily though, they could have just been waiting).

That it went to the last minute like this indicates Chris may have indeed screwed up a plea agreement somehow.

That's interesting. I always thought dudes in PC and did sex crimes wouldn't be viewed in any favorable light by other inmates given the hierarchy structure in prisons.

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification.

We don’t really have any of the facts here.

(But hey, it’s fun to speculate!)

Maybe there was a plea deal and Chris turned it down. Maybe not.

Maybe this grand jury is PART of a plea deal as a learned farmer suggested.

Maybe the prosecution had a shit case, knew it and didn’t want to file it, but the clock ran out and they have to do something.

Or who knows, maybe they for whatever reason have decided that Chris needs to spend a decade behind bars.

(If that was the case and they had a strong case, they probably would have done this earlier though.)

Anyways, we don’t know much at this stage but can only speculate. Especially given the unusual way this case has been handled.

So they've finished the grand july appearance, and indicted him? I don't think I recall a decision being made, just that he was being sent to a grand jury to be decided on for his case.
