I've noticed that Chris's hearing date on the court website is now listed as "08/09/2022", the date of the "Motion - Other Pre-Trial" hearing.

Given this, can we assume that the grand jury has indeed chosen to indict Chris? If he was not indicted wouldn't there be no point in holding a pre-trial hearing?

That was there before the GJ met this morning. I'm guessing it's just standard practice. We still don't know.

If any of the charges are bumped up to felony, or any new charges that will be a felony, will they be made public now that Chris is going to trial?

Only life if he's indicted for rape. I doubt the grand jury will increase the charges but we'll know for sure within a couple of days.

Realistically even if he's convicted of rape, they're not going to give the tard life. A request for mercy due to his retardation would at least net him a shorter sentence. Though if he does catch a rape charge the odds of him getting civil commitment after he completes his sentence becomes not out of the realm of possibility, due to the relaxed standards.

None of his previous offenses qualify as a strike, as none of them have been grievous, violent felonies. He's been convicted of misdemeanor failure to stop for an accident, and misdemeanor assault. Even if he'd been convicted of felony failure to stop, and felony gas discharge (gamestop initial charge), neither of them are strikes.

That was updated either earlier on the 7th or late on the 6th. Either the prosecutor or Heilberg filed it.

I was 6 when the 90s started, so not really in a position to tell you how the 90s were. But from my pov they were pretty great, in hindsight watching the world evolve rapidly technologically won't happen again until some kind of major quantum home computing or AI singularity. In the sense of being a kid, the 90s were perfect, everyone still went outside to play but if it rained there was always some completely new video game experience to have if you wanted it.
He acts like every generation/decade didn't have problems. While hindsight is 20/20 you do have to look at things like, we had a solid economy for a long time, inflation was low, and we had the up and coming of the home computer/internet. The U.S.S.R was collapsed so trying to lie to people that a nuclear apocalypse would happen was just laughable. Compare that to nowadays and overall yes it was significantly better than where we are currently.

I would imagine this trial being as entertaining as Alex Jone's if this was televised.
Unfortunately, it won't be, trials regarding sex crimes in Virginia cannot be televised, even if the judge permits it.

https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacode/title19.2/chapter15/section19.2-266/

2. Coverage of the following types of judicial proceedings shall be prohibited: adoption proceedings, juvenile proceedings, child custody proceedings, divorce proceedings, temporary and permanent spousal support proceedings, proceedings concerning sexual offenses, proceedings for the hearing of motions to suppress evidence, proceedings involving trade secrets, and in camera proceedings.

Chris seemed both afraid of what came next in general as well as after release. It seems not going back to 14 BC is something that will happen regardless of what Chris wants.
I hope whatever equity is in it is sold off to put Barb in a nursing home or something. Come on Tom /Harriet!
the only real punishment he would have is to never set foot in there again.

Unfortunately, if history is anything to go by, he'll be back there playing with lego & funded by weens, completely absolving himself of any wrong doing.

world went to shit for the avarge people in 2008

I wonder if weens will start writing Virginian politicians trying to get the law changed to allow it lol
VAs own Ethan Ralph could write up a little something:

Ya Hona, I am quite familiar with the courts and legals systems in this state (and even foreign countries) and I'm here to tell you it's nawt true it would be a great disservice to the Killstream the people in this fine state to have not have trial  livestreamed televised. I represent The Ralph Retort Killstream.tv Cozy.tv and we are a fine upstanding organization who would like the opportunity to broadcast this event. Your ratings will be number one in the sektur from the top on down. Guaranteed.

People whining about the 90s probably weren't even alive when the 90s happened. Day-to-day life was better even if the feds were busy running back-to-back fuckups trying to suppress militias and cults. Parents hadn't been fearmongered into sequestering their children indoors, nor were the streets filled with feral niggers that gave you an actual reason to keep your kids inside. Trannies were still openly the butt of jokes in the media. Fags were still cautious about being perceived as pedos. As if all that weren't enough, it was still possible to run a household on a single income, and the material standard of living was still on its way up. All in all it was a good time to be alive.
Nothing's happening so this thread decides to become a "why the 90s were better thread. " the spirit of the mighty wings thread lives on.
This is what a lack of happenings does to us all.

most likely it was chris stomping his feet and mumbling to himself. the only interesting part would be how chris reacts to a severe sentence. i dont see this thing ending any other way than with chris flailing on the ground screaming and crying while officers lug him out of the court like a beached whale
