If they wanted to make a joke, a later mission would have revealed that all those cars are remotely piloted by jeets and the random kill was the usual jeet driving skill.
If this were released before Rockstar became Cuckstar that's absolutely what would have happened. If this happened in the GTA III-IV era that is exactly what would have happened.

Rockstar used to be cool.

I find interesting that despite people treating Claude as someone who betrays everyone he meets, he only really betrays Kenji, the other people betray him first.

Toni however is smart enough to give shotguns to every other guy in the mafia area
He also ends up attacking the diablos for the yardies IIRC

But Claude is a gun for hire. He can't really "betray" anyone as he works for whoever is willing to pay him or give him what he wants.

There's a mission creator within the new GTA Online update. Already, players are abusing the feature by recreating tragic events within the game. Rockstar is evidently actioning accounts that misuse it for such purposes.

What is the cut-off date for it? When they give up to censorship and remove the Haitians from Little Haiti in LCS after getting sued?
Honestly, probably GTA V's release. You'll notice in general GTA V was a lot less offensive than previous games. Or maybe I'm just a retard but it feels like the humor is much less risky than in previous titles.
Then for RDR2 they refused to depict racism (Unless the person doing it was blatantly a bad guy.) even though it would have been super prevalent during that time. ect.

Someone got banned for making a mission where you steal a copy of GTA 6 apparently just to show how ridiculous they are now.

Surprised that both it and Red Dead 1 got no N-word proper outside of Lenny saying it once, what do you mean Confederate remnants call him "Darkie"?

I can get the protagonist not being racist and all, but that everyone but Micah is seemly fine in the gang, 20+ people in the bumfuck nowhere being progressive? John in 1 seem to also be fine with both mexicans and natives, but more in the "I don't care about them" type.

Lol, trying to get the Survivalist challenges in RDR 1, on the 9th, with like 2 plants left, I agreed to help a dude's wife, but since I'm on extreme, I got one shot the second I got off the horse and lost all progress in that level of the challenge.

Yeah, I am not 100% it (I will get all Strangers, that's it). I heard good things about Undead Nightmare, so I'm sure it will be entertaining.

Honestly, that GTA Mission Creator seems like something that should have been made years ago. If anything, if they also implement this in GTA VI, it could be a real fun experience.

Of course, aside from the moderation that could potentially take away some things because of bad faith actors abusing the mechanics for this feature.
I think people found code related to the mission creator in the files like years ago, they've just taken their sweet ass time finally releasing it.
Hell all of the cop stuff that's been added was all originally meant to be part of some cop themed update from back in the day but they cancelled it for whatever reason and are now recycling bits and pieces of it in different updates.
Kind of like how many people suspect the Doomsday Heist was originally the secret agent Trevor DLC or whatever that got completely scrapped.

Speaking of, considering the mission creator lets you dress up the players as cops for your mission there is a non-zero chance someone has already made a mission where you kill George Floyd and probably got banned for it.

:story:
I guarantee there's been ones to kill Trump, Charlie Kirk, and Rob Reiner and his wife too

They also made sure that all of the plantation workers in the game were white which was pretty retarded.
I hate to break it to you Rockstar, but while yes slavery was technically illegal by the time RDR2 takes place it doesn't mean some people still weren't doing it. Especially in the fucking south where the game takes place.

But yeah to get back on thread topic I'd say GTA V was when the cuckening began and it only got worse from there.

If? Remember that Rockstar bought FiveM. Everything they're doing for GTA Online is in preparation for GTA VI in some way. The single player experience is just an appetizer, the real money will be dwelling into user-generated content like Roblox and Fortnite.

I hate that shit like this gets banned. Either video games aren't real and can't harm you or video games can have an a real world effect on people and therefore should be banned.

They can't pick and choose. Let the players have some fun ffs.

i can't fucking stand sarcasm anymore. R*'s way of doing parody is taking a superficial look at something and repeating it back the same way your 14 yo pothead buddies would.
It's why I can't take anyone who says John Marston or Niko Bellic was a well-written character seriously.
Their stories were good, but the characters themselves were mediocrity made digital flesh.
Sardonic snark and sarcasm are not a substitute for a personality, yet the late 00s seemed to be chock full of these types to the same extent it was full of Whedon quirky chungus and Abrams 'nothing really matters' tension archetypes.

On a smaller note, if the writers for GTA 6 are the same ones writing GTAO currently, shit's gonna suck.
Just rewatch the cutscenes for the Drug Wars GTAO update and weep.

It is pretty tiresome going to gtaonline subreddit to get updated on weekly events. You get so many people describing each activity as money per hour like it's an actual job.
They're redditors; odds are they're unemployed and this is as close to a job as they'll ever get.

i hope rockstar puts a mission in gta6 where some seedy character contracts you to murder a bunch of people who are protesting because they lost their job trying to unionize against a large company

that lezlie benzies guy that used to be a bigwig at rockstar that left to make that shitty mindseye game had that same kinda mission/content creator thing in it, wonder if he was shilling that idea for a while when he still worked at rockstar and the housers just kept telling him to fuck off and then they end up doing it

They also made sure that all of the plantation workers in the game were white which was pretty retarded.
Some places tried that with Europeans, like in Brazil, but it was short-lived. Still, it is a Caribbean island, so the debt slaves wouldn't be all white.

Reminds me of a post talking on how they found weird that the scalping gang in the woods in 2 is mostly white (they got some blacks in the Skinners), one guy said "By 1907 the natives were all in resevations, they wouldn't be in the wild to form gangs", sure, but Tall Trees is full of natives (and some whites) in 1, 4 years latter. You kill some hundred of them in 5 missions.

I do find the Wapiti missions cool, but it is clear that Rockstar got a lot of complaints about the natives in 1, so they went overboard with being politically correct with them in 2. Everyone in the gang, besides Bill and Micah, is okay with the natives, instead of being indifferent at best. You can't even pull your gun, even at low honor. Arthur can shoot up half of Saint Dennis and still do missions there, but the Wapiti? No, too sacred.

where you kill George Floyd
>Play RDR 2 Online as a black character
>BossNigger.mp3 on a loop.
>Eat 5 Oleander Sage while being hunted by the police
>Die before any of them shoot
Real Floyd experience
