From what I understand this was recorded specifically for GTA III's Lips 106, but only the "Better, B-b-better, B-b-b-b-b-better" part was used for a bumper segment instead. Others online have speculated the mention of Kleenex may have welcomed litigation at the time and it was cut for that reason. Its catchy.

Speaking of GTA III's radio, DJ Lord Sear has recently passed away at 53. He was another MC/DJ in Game FM with Stretch Armstrong. You could hear him at the beginning of Game FM and two other intermissions.
RIP Lord Sear.

Strauss Zelnick has "confirmed" that GTA 6 would not retail at $100, but would maintain a $70-80 price point. I have a hard time believing that since Zelnick misinformed his shareholders and the public about quality ports/remasters before GTA: The Trilogy: The Definitive Edition.
With Fortnite laying off a thousand employees to cut costs AND the Sony increasing its PS5's MSRP to $900, it's safe to say that GTA VI will be sold at a loss. No way it'll break even from its rumored $1-2 billion development costs.

Call me a naysayer and a negative nancy, but good. I'm tired of game developers having this mindset of "We dumped a gaziillion dollars into this! it's gonna be amazing!"
I'm sure GTA will be fine to play and gamers will call it GOTY no matter what. But if Rockstar feels the pain of not breaking even, good.

Weird fact: Vice City's gangs don't have names.
"Haitians" "Cubans" "Bikers" "Streetwannabes" "Diaz's Gang" "Vercetti's Gang" -- these are not names. These are descriptions. It's like calling the mafia "The Italians" or Grove Street Families "Sweet's Gang."
The game was made in nine months so it's full of weird shit like this. It's still a masterpiece, but it's really funny to step back and notice all the weird shit.

I hope you're enjoying it. That said, I can't see of any reason of why a PS5 is a viable choice for gaming.

GTA Advance: the prequel for III that came out for the Gameboy Advance of all things.

Well, yes and no. GTA Advance is more similar to the 2D GTAs of yesterday while taking place in III's Liberty City.
If he means games that play like GTA III, i.e. in a 3D environment, I would say the True Crime series (Streets of LA, NYC) and The Godfather video game adaption. Or perhaps GTA: Vice City Stories.

You could try looking through the early GTA clones: True Crime Streets of LA, The Getaway, Driver 1-3, Roadkill, 25 to Life, etc. But be prepared for jank.

There was a "special edition" of GTA III exclusive to Australia before it had to be rerated. What's interesting is how the packaging includes beta screenshots.

Happy I bought my PS5 for 450 (which I thought was a ripoff) I'll never touch a pro and when ps6 comes out I'll just go pc (unless this ram crisis is that bad)
