This literally looks like one of those shader showcase videos. I could just grab a shader from somewhere and slap into my game and I'd have the same result just with nothing cut out.

This is full price. 60 whole smackaroos for a shader mod.

Apparently they added GTA IV LCPD logo to the police cars too!

Don't forget trigger acceleration and reverse!

lmfao what a fucking joke. Sticking with my modded PC versions. It's great for console kiddies I guess.

Can't wait to see TheProfessional talk shit about this

Graphics-wise it looks like complete dogshit, like one of those unity videos where a wannabe indie dev drops a high poly Mario model into a prefab field and gives him ambient occlusion. Gameplay=wise it might be more enjoyable with modern controls, but the graphics alone are so hideous I wouldn't even want to give it a chance. Only decent looking scene in the trailer IMO was the shot of Claude driving in the rain. Character models are god awful overall and the biggest turnoff to me

I won't buy it anyway, since I'm saving on GTX 1650

I do feel like we're getting fucked on almost every front here:

-Rockstar Game Launcher only
-No free upgrade if you own the games already
-$60
-Old-looking, cartoony character models with modern shading so they look uncanny valley

The only saving grace would be if it played well. If ran well and had better controls than the originals, I'd 100% buy it on sale.

Just came to echo the consensus that this looks ugly as sin, especially the eyes on characters in 3. Was never going to buy it since Vice City was the only one I cared for back in the day, but what the hell Rockstar use some of that shark card money and make a fucking effort.

Not a huge fan of the new shaders, but all i care about is to see if the gameplay was improved, and shit... My hopes are that the soundtracks are left untouched, i hate that the latter is looking less probable nowadays

don't they go back and update older games to remove songs?
Hasnt happened to the PS4 version of San Andreas, thats all i know cause its the only one i have there, but yeah, they have done that for 4, 5, and that SA mobile port

Great Sims makeover on the originals, Rockstar, thanks.

What is there to improve? The gameplay of any GTA is very cookie cutter. If anything, some bullshit difficulty spikes (especially in GTA 3) make it more fun to play.

Only thing that has me interested is that the trailer was in 60 fps, which makes me hope they fixed the issues the games originally had

Looks shit. Not surprised. Won't buy. Moving on.
Yep, ditto. Looks just as god awful as I figured it'd be.
What gets me though - this halfassed UE shitpile is what they fucked over the modding community for. They have the gall to think this is better than any of the modding scene's output over the last 15 years. Amazing.

I don't think it looks that bad, but I don't think it looks that good. I didn't expect it to look so cartoony, but I didn't expect the hyper-realistic RDR2-style either. I expected something along the lines of GTA 5 graphics tbh, but currently I don't think it looks absolutely terrible.

I would say wait on it to see what the gameplay's like, and keep waiting until the price drops to like $30-$40 if you still want it.
