As for the censorship, there's no doubt they removed much more from the trilogy. We will have to wait and see.

Late to the party but still, Props for Rockstar by making the laziest remake in history, at the least they changed the engine, so yeah, congrats for doing the very minimum to have it be a remake.

Regarding the whole remaster thing, I'm just going to repeat what I said about the Saints Row reboot, just pirate it. Rockstar already starting tanking the series into the ground with their exploiting of GTA Online, then they make some ugly Fortnite looking version of the OG Trilogy and want people to pay for it. If you're curious about how the controls are/interested in replaying it in the style of the remaster, then just pirate it, don't bother giving your money to them for giving such a shit remake. At the end of the day I don't really give that much of a shit about the whole thing since I'll always have the original copies of the game owned and if not, could easily emulate them. The only thing I feel bummed about is the kids who will experience the OG trilogy for the first time through this trash looking shit, and they don't deserve that.

I don't even think Rockstar removing the originals is their most useless idea. Their most useless idea was re-releasing GTA V twice . Sucks about music licensing tho

I wouldn't even expect the original GTA games to run on Switch at 1080p 30 fps.

I've spent thousands of hours in the GTA games 'stunting' in my youth, but I honestly never gave the stories much attention. Watching speedruns of GTA SA reminds me that it's actually an entertaining game with the territory take-overs and the 'hell state' where people run around with TVs and shit. The fact the remaster trilogy has achievements is a great incentive to truly, once and for all, completely fucking milk dry this series and ditch it afterwards.

Yeah, IIRC he's an artist/musician and not an actor. He's not the type to really give a shit about GTA popularity like Ned Luke and Solo.

Someone in the comments say he said he wished there was a better portrayal in GTA V but didn't really care that much.

The cover includes a small message at the bottom which reads “download required – see back”. The back of the box is not shown, so it’s not yet clear what this download entails.

According to the Switch eShop, “the estimated system space that will be required to download all three games is 22GB”. In theory, then, the game could have comfortably fit in a 32GB cartridge.

The issue, however, appears to revolve around Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, which seems to require a separate download, even with the digital eShop version.

The Definitive Edition is shown on the eShop as a bundle containing its three games as separate products, each marked as ‘not available to purchase’ on their own.

According to each game’s own eShop page, Grand Theft Auto III is 2.2GB and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is 10.8GB, but Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is only 119MB.

Vice City’s page includes an extra message, not included with the other games, which says: “The estimated system space that will be required to download this game is 6.5GB.”
