They probably will. It's easier to sell DLC if it isn't limited by a theme like the 80s. RDR Online failed for similar reasons.but what if they modern vice city
Shame the Houser brothers were such morons that when Ray did Joe Pesci's Goodfellas bit unprompted for them they saw their arses rather than geek the fuck out about it.i just want rockstar to bring back ray liotta to voice old tommy for a mission or 2 in the game
do that, and i will forgive everything wrong with modern gta until i have another reason to complain
They're British. If it's not Four Weddings or Paddington, the joke is lost.Shame the Houser brothers were such morons when Ray did Joe Pesci's Goodfellas bit

GTA 3 has a great world ambience, even 20 years later. The music and ped dialogue complements the drab, smug atmosphere of Liberty City.
Every design choice crafted into Liberty City then was intentional. Truly a sight to behold to just ... Stand there and observe.
This is primarily why I think the first RDR is superior to the sequel. This is something I hate about modern gaming. It feels like with 4K graphics and uncompressed sound they feel like developers can just not give a fuck about atmosphere and ambience.
Agreed, good thing there's a mod on PC that replicates the PS2 vibe: PS2 FeelsI think the PS2 version of GTA 3 has the best ambience of all its versions. It's ugly in a charming, intentional way.
Now, to be fair, I wouldn’t be surprised. MJ’s songs did fit the overall aesthetic of Vice City more than it did Los Santos. If anything, it’s one of the main reasons why we’ll never hear the likes of Prince, The Beatles or even Frank Zappa in a GTA game in the near future.Michael Jackson refused to let R* use his songs for SA if I remember rightly.
PC versions do that too. And the PSP versions of LCS and VCS. Underrated feature, to say the least. I think GTA IV takes it one step further by having in-universe ads WITH your custom soundtrack on PC. Sadly, you couldn't do that in the 360 version of IV.I’m actually a sucker for the FAT Xbox console allowing you to play your own music and MP3s on the custom made GTA stations for III, Vice City and San Andreas.
Love how Franklin reacts to Trevor suggesting him along the rest of the targets for the final missionPeople compare Stretch to Big Smoke and Ryder, I disagree. He was just thrown into the plot with little character development or background. Just another gangbanging moron.
Well, he was going to kill Lamar so...Love how Franklin reacts to Trevor suggesting him along the rest of the targets for the final mission
"Stretch...? We really gonna throw him in there?"
More an inconvenience than an a legit antagonist
Rise and MSX FM are still better than all of GTA Vs radio stations thoughDisagree about the music. GTA3 has the WORST soundtrack. SA at least has SOME good tunes but hampered by Rockstar not wanting to buy the rights to big name acts (Metallica, Madonna, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston) while Vice City has the best soundtrack with Rockstar opening up their wallet and buying all sorts of great songs with a bunch of big names.
I like your taste in music.Rise and MSX FM are still better than all of GTA Vs radio stations though
(Seriously though why are the electronic stations in GTA V so shit, Soulwax FM is boring and I wish they just they got more of the French House songs that were on Non Stop Pop and made that it’s own channel)
