Just pirate the OG trilogy and fuck the deflective edition ones if you don't want to buy steam keys from specific storefronts.
Even the old pc i had with fucking pentium iv and geforce 6200 worked flawlessly with the OG releases.

yeah the DE sucks get fucking over it they bombed and you can easily still play the OG releases if youre not a fucking donkey brained console moron, which is exactly the kind of person who buys these remasters and never would have tried to play the OG releases anyways

A simple duck duck go search with "(GTA title) archive.org" will work wonders.

Ignorance isn't an excuse. You were told months in advance these games were going off marketplaces, but there are plenty of cracks and pirated versions to get around it.

If you're desperate to remain a console player and not pirate or mod, don't throw old consoles away for old games you like. Stop relying on Publishers/Developers you hate to provide you with remasters and remakes.
 
Real talk, either emulate the shit, or buy a console. Used consoles are not that expensive, and neither is buying a used copy of the games. I'm sick of people pissing and moaning about PC ports, remakes, and remasters that are never going to happen and/or will be absolutely terrible.

In all seriousness, if you haven't made the jump to preserve GTA 3D era titles, that's on the individual. I have The Double Pack in storage. I just don't have a gaming computer (yet.) I just hope it's easier on PC NOW.

Dude I ran those games in a Pentium 4 + 8600GT, Today any cheapass processor can run the 3D GTAs with integrated graphics.

It hasn't been hard to get them to run on PC for over a decade.

I got them to run on my cheap HP laptop I had in college back in 2009 ffs

Its the right move. They cant waste any more time on things other than GTA VI and they cant risk having any more remasters be shitty.

My dream purchase is a midrange PC, mainly for emulation and recent releases. But, I have to get my affairs in order with my personal life. But, that's neither here or there.
