It is odd that you can have the entire city be controlled by the Vances and all other gangs basically dead/pushed out just for two years later get completely fucked by Diaz the manlet. I guess canonically VCS was a speedrun playthrough and not a 100% one.

The Cubans and Haitians took over.

I like how there's more than one variation of DJ dialogue in SA/IV.

"People always come up to me, and tell me that they blasted on fools. Like it's funny. ... If they're FOOLS, then why bother blasting on them? Doesn't that make YOU a fool?"

He ain't wrong. Julio G, Radio Los Santos.

I've always loved the DJ dialogue in VC, SA, LCS, CW and even IV.

I just always assumed the people that worked for Victor just kind of got absorbed into Diaz group and probably other criminal groups in the area.

I've said it before, but GTAV feels like it's Michael's and to a lesser extent Trevor's story, and i do believe that was the original intention. Who knows why they went with the three protagonists route in the end.

When you look at every single story beat in this plot, most if not all of them are related to Michael's plot, with Trevor being more of a side character and Franklin just being... There. Only thing he has going is a different viewpoint coming from the hood, but even then, he moves out of there very early on and becomes "The Sidekick" from there onwards.

Frank just didn't have much to do, he wanted to be more than a just hoodlum, he earns that about 6 missions in or so. Even his role during the final mission seems too contrived for me. You're telling me these two different parties with access to sufficient firepower just suddenly decided "Nah, let's get that one single nigga we barely even know" to clap their respective targets? Hell, if you go with The Third Way even Franklin himself is surprised when the game decides to throw Stretch in as his final enemy.

In short, Franklin's story has no urgency because he barely had a story to begin with
Rockstar tried to make 2013 version of CJ then failed miserably, they should've taken different approach in terms of black protag

What made CJ so special was his wacky friends
Fatty nigger and manlet nigger, beaner car mechanics fucking his sister, glowie and hippie and blind Chinese mafia boss etc
Meanwhile all Franklin got is old and miserable white dudes and his only black friend, Lamar

Lamar would've make better protag than franklin imo
He's a gangsta with some exaggerated nigger trait unlike CJ who mostly acts logically and being moralfag, stopping his gang doing drug business, another black protag Vance has similar trait too
Killing people and dealing drugs for fun, that's my nigga long dick Lamar

I've also read that Franklin was supposed to die in Plan C ending and Lamar takes his place. There's no strong evidence tho just some datamining

Since the news of 2Pac’s death being investigated is brought back to life once again, I thought it would be nice to show you what happens when one searches “gta 2pac” on YT/Invidious:

There’s a mix of Russian and English commenters that left comments that date back over seven to eight years ago.

Plus, there was this that I found out recently:

Seven years ago, a YouTuber by the name of GamingWithKev actually used the mod of 2Pac as gameplay footage for over an hour in GTA V and made a video about it here.

I like how there's cross progression between GTA Online and Red Dead Online. Do some activities in GTA Online, unlock something in Red Dead Online. I just did one for a revolver. I made half a million in a half hour on that scavenger hunt alone.

@Quamdale Dingle I believe the idea that each protagonist is supposed to be represent a different type of GTA protagonist (the deconstruction for Michael, the straight version for Franklin, and a deconstruction of the "rampage" player for Trevor), which Lamar would have been like another Trevor and it would have never flown for a lead man. People would have complained too much about Lamar being such a dumb hood rat. But Lamar is definitely way more fun than Franklin, Franklin had no personality. He had no content either. I was excited most about the gangbanger stuff and then the character I was most interested in was the most half-baked story and half-baked activities.

GTA streamer English Ben starts a collection of GTA games and does an unboxing. I love big unboxing videos.
I'm kinda iffy on unboxing videos. Some are interesting, don't get me wrong. I used to watch these until sometime in 2017.

GTA V's plot has as much depth as VC's story. It goes through several subplots with the antagonists and side characters, only to have them begrudgingly reappear after a heist. It boils down to Micheal playing patsy for the FIB while contemplating Trevor's rage and mentoring Franklin.

The Ballas appear in, what, two mission and a rampage?
