If it was a real San Andreas Stories, like taking place in the 3D era San Andreas but like in the 80's I'd be happy tbqh

But if it was just another GTA V expansion I'd be like too little too late

How are they going to make Vice City look distinctive in the HD era? That's a hard act to follow.
 
I think that at the very least GTA 6 will have a fun sandbox, story will probably suck ass and have shitty references to cringe leftoid politics, and will probably feature Not-Trump and Not-Proud Boys being a enemy who is both incompetent but also a threat to all of America and must be stopped. The game will probably have some BLM shit in it and Cops will probably be overtly racist, and all the other awful ideas we can think of, but at least running over pedestrians in a car will be fun.

They're not going to even try. The (zoomer/millennial) money is in making everything contemporary, not in a stylized vision that overrides potential profit.
Expect a current-day Miami, which outside of Miami Beach is ugly as shit and has 0% of that faux-80s glitz.

Since IV, R* has had a priority in making their worlds cutting-edge detailed and graphically impressive. Style, atmosphere, and fun take a far-back seat.
No seriously, check the interviews; they always use words like "most detailed" or "most realistic" when describing their new settings post-SA. Never "most fun". I particularly remember them being excited about how it would originally take you an hour to get from edge of Liberty City to another (lol) and how they made glass-breaking animations for vehicles rather than sell you on how much fucking fun you would have or how much customization would be improved (lol x2).
Then there's their eternal unicorn since VC; life-like Peds/NPCs. They've always promised that their 'next-gen' AI means pedestrians and NPCs are completely independent of the player and that if you choose, you can stalk one at random and watch them live out their lives; go to work, go home, socialize, and eventually ascend in their lives or be left on the streets. Then post-launch they explain that the technology "just wasn't there yet" (true, but it'll never be at that point anyway. Having an AI that runs itself millions of times simultaneously is going to be stressful on all but the most beefy CPUs, so maybe just stop saying this time you really got it down).

Forget about all that; the nigger music will be most of the content featured on the radio except for the homosexual urbanite station and the hipster station. Fucking hell, can we at least get a Spotify/AM/Pandora/etc station on consoles akin to the MP3 Player/Independence FM/Self-Radio stations on PC?
 
Since it takes place in GTA universe Florida, will the beaches be filled with fat landwhale mexicans like in the stories our Dear Feeder serenades us with on MATI about his time in the fabled lands of Pensacola?
 
I can't wait for GTAVI to come out so we can all see what a giant disaster it will be. People have been salivating for this release in the last 10 years and it's going to be the biggest disappointment in videogame history.
If they cancel it, then Take Two's stock will literally plummet overnight and R* will go up in flames. They've been teasing this game for so long that backing out now would be suicide. R* will most likely take the pretentious TLOU2 route so they can at least get pity points from the media and the morons that listen to game journos.
 
I was literally sick for almost four days and I found out from an Instagram clone website that GTA VI will have a teaser trailer come December, yet to somehow get over this sickness, I’ve been doing nothing but watching Manhunt gameplay videos.

Not that that has anything to do with this new development, but for those unaware; in the next 10 days, Manhunt will turn 20 years old.

Rockstar can also go real cheap with modern indie music for most of the radio stations and maybe have one 80's station that just plays Synthwave for the aesthetic.

They should at least license some Pop Smoke music for the clubs. Hell, throw Young Mayley a bone for his music.
 
As far as the GTA VI soundtrack goes, it would actually be a real disappointment if they don’t add a vaporwave radio station in game. It needs to be in the same vein as this:

Don't forget the exclusion of the Confederate flag and perhaps a trans side character for social justice.

Hell, certain parts of America are practically IRL GTA servers anyway.

Yeah I think it's gonna suck. Physics and visuals will be amazing, but outside of that, gonna be awful. All the people who made GTA and R* what it was are long gone now.

Game will have no real edge, its social commentary will now be cringe instead of hilarious, story will not be compelling at all.

It will make buhmillions of dollars, but the game will still fucking blow.

I'm glad I'm old enough to remember the glory days on PS2 where we had a stretch of a new GTA game almost every year, and they were all dank as can be.
 
Who the fuck wants to go back to Vice City without the neon lights or the memorable characters? This was a stupid idea from the start, you're not even going to get memberberries anymore.
This might have been a decent title to release in 2015-16 and 2017 at the latest, now it's only going to show how little the franchise changed in 10 years.
It's still shocking to me that Definitive Edition is the only way to legally play the older titles without owning a boxed PC or console set. R* might take the cake for the worst way a company can treat it's older titles, along with Blizzard who made it impossible to play W3 and D2 even if you owned them after the demakes
