Everything else tells me the original Vice City will be much better.

Looks pretty good. Likely going to do what I have done for every other game and wait until a month or so after the game comes out before deciding if its worth it or not. based on the release date though I don't expect this game until the ass end of 2025, or 2026. More leaning for 2026 though as rockstar loves doing a 3-4 month delay right before the game is supposed to come out.
