I'm 95% positive what you're looking at in this trailer is...the best I can put it right now is "cutscene content".

The reason it looks like a Sony first party game is because it's motion captured cinematics. This isn't gameplay euphoria animations.

That's why I said the twerking, the police body cam and news/social media footage is "pre rendered", although that's not the right term. It's motion captured cinematics. Still done in engine I'm sure, but not in gameplay.

Edit: For the actual graphical quality, there may be a disconnect because people are probably subconsciously comparing it to GTA V which is over a decade old now and not RDR2, so the big jump could be jarring.

That, and the game won't actually have that level of quality at release, most likely.
 
The racial make-up of Miami has whites as a minority. They're not that much far ahead than blacks in terms of demographics, and let's be honest the niggers are definitely underreported because if you think the Haitians are wanting to participate in the census you're nuts. Miami is a city of mutts and illegals and people are surprised it's depicted this way? I mean, I get it, I know where I'm at, but lol
 
I don't get the point of this. This shit isn't even coming out for another two years, and the internet has an attention span of a week at most. What does releasing this trailer accomplish? You get people excited for absolutely nothing and they forget all about it two years before your game is ready for market. That's assuming no big delays either.

I've never played GTA, because I don't get the appeal. From an outsider I see this trailer and think I really hate all these people. I get that it's meant to be over the top, you're not supposed to think too hard about it, and you're not supposed to think they are good people. But I can't imagine spending 30+ hours on a game where everyone is a total degenerate and I'm just waiting for bad things to happen to them. It all just seems really obnoxious. Maybe the games aren't that bad when you get into them, but this is how GTA sells itself. I just don't see the appeal, and I don't get the hype for a game that isn't even close to being ready.

I don't know, I'm not sold on it. There was a very generic feeling to the whole trailer that didn't hit with me.

The graphics feel like those 3D mockups for house/apartment designs. The ones where they go all out and include people “living”.

It most likely won’t look like that in the end, but it’s uncanny valley right now.

Unfortunately that's the norm and has been for years, I can't think of the last time a AAA game was announced within a year of it's release, at least here we get in-engine stuff showcasing the map and shit, nowadays the announcement trailer for a major game is usually pre-rendered bullshit.
 
I'm always down for a good love Story, but there is no Chance in hell any modern video game writer can write a natural relationship.
