Remember:
GTA V was planned to be released initially on PS4/Xbox One but Cockstar took the easy way to release somewhat earlier on PS3/Xbox 360 to gain more.
All the additional shit they put on PS4/Xbox One and later PC was mean to be in the base game.
I'm completing the game at 100% but with the legacy edition. Imagine how i got angry when i saw the menu of the gay enhaced edition: first online, next gta+ (gay shit) and in the end the "story" mode.
When in legacy i just configure to boot only the single player mode. Fucking fucks.
I remember I saved up to buy a brand new ps3 just for them to fuck me and say it was on ps4 like 2 months later. And all it was was updates for Online. I predict the sp of VI to be around 20 hours bc they will make sure sp is boring af (yoga/golf but I can't sell drugs/kill gangs).

i bought up a used ps3 just to play it. how fucked up it was versus the ps4-pc ports? i dont remember a cp77 shitshow scenario

Abused a lot with the stock market.
After the first Lester stock manipulation mission that's required for the main story, the rest are optional side missions. I waited until the end of the game, after the big gold heist, to do the rest of them. Turned the millions into billions... too bad this was on the 360 so after buying all the properties and everyone still having over over a billion each there was nothing to do with it. Would have liked to be able to buy flying cars in singleplayer.

I feel the M16 is S-tier for PC, but A tier for PS2/Xbox. The DPS and rate and fire from that one weapon makes it massively overpowered, especially on PC where whatever you aim, it shoots EXACTLY where you point it. Aiming it in first person generates a LOT of recoil coupled with the controller's deadzone that makes it a determinant of its full potential.

I never thought of using grenades as a mine of sorts to catch chasing enemies behind you. If you're able to aim with them, I'd say it deserves A tier. To me, with that, it's B tier since you just throw it haphazardly.

Because their fans are predominantly heterosexual men, and the Rockstar workforce isn't.

What's worse, the fanbase Rockstar cultivated is far more chuddy than most other ones you'll find in gaming, and this drives the genderblobs and dangerhairs infesting Rockstar like ticks up the wall.
I wonder if their caricature of the Florida government will be of a typical Corrupt Fumbly Republican Chudhole when in reality Florida in the last decade or so has been far more competently-run than California or New York.

Honestly, the fact that Florida has a fleet of snowplows surprises me more than the fact that California let its reservoirs go dry and allowed Pacific Palisades and Malibu to burn down to the ground. I guess my only chance to visit them now is in GTA V lol.

I'll go against the grain as a fairly new GTA online player (I played briefly at release, got to level 12 and just fucked off to single player as I had intended all along), and say that with the the ability to now do "invite only" solo Online lobbies, it sort of makes up for Rockstar completely fucking over us Singler Player folks in regards to the GTA V DLC all this time. Enhanced runs very well at 4k even with a 5700XT, I've averaged 117fps over 200 hours (lmao). Enhanced actually runs better on my machine at 4k than the legacy version did at 2k.

I haven't played GTA V this much in years since I recently discovered this, as I never kept up with Online, due to not having a solid enough connection to play. With my recent acquisition of Fiber I decided to give it a chance. I'm working through a decade's worth of updates to a game I haven't touched since launch.

I don't even mind the $8 a month for GTA+, I can afford the $8 a month to help me get up to speed, as I just picked up my character from where I left off years ago and didn't even take advantage of the 4 mill you get for creating a completely new character now. I didn't find out about that until I had already bought plus and got to around level 50 or so.

The Oppressor MK1 is the most fun and rewarding bike in the game. Risk vs reward just blasting across the map is amazing, it really gives me Road Rash II vibes. The MK2 is a skilless rocket broomstick for grinders and griefers.

People who say this I already know haven't played online in a good few years or have their opinion based on other people's experience. It's not the best thing ever but it certainly isn't bad. Races and missions are a lot of fun, not worth delaying GTA 6 or not releasing any single player DLC but still.
I played Online at launch and abandoned it at level 12 because it sucked, and so did my internet connection. I recently got fiber internet and decided to give it a try again, and holy fuck its actually kinda good now. Invite only lobbies rule, and remind me of what I used to do which was play single player with a trainer that brought in the online vehicles. I am very happy that the vast majority of the heists and such can be done solo, I've never really wanted to play GTA with other people, and I'm glad Online gives me a way not to and still enjoy the content that I've missed out on for over a decade.

I may actually be able to keep myself busy with online until VI releases for PC, maybe even enough to be there for it to ride off into the sunset as VI releases.

Speaking of which, remember the leak that age verification would come to GTA Online? Say age verification would become standard into VI, would that affect potential sales or online engagement? We all know how fickle R*'s security is for GTA Online and Red Dead Online thanks to peer to peer servers. If so, could Rockstar and Take Two weather that storm?

If it does, it's probably only for the console kiddies, as Steam damn well knows who I am due to all of my payment stuff they have, lmao.

I'm sure there will be ways around that age verification that somebody would figure out. Hell, forget money lobbies, I wouldn't put it pass people to turn fake IDs into a lucrative business.

But, GTA VI won't release on PC until a year or so after launch. Again, I'm sure GTA VI will sell gangbusters, but waning out GTA Online for another potential golden goose is risky. It's not a matter of how much it'll sell, but would it be enough?

I didn't bother with the stock market at all because why would I want to play stocks in GTA? Then I beat the game and spent most of my money on cars before realising there's very few ways to make money and all of them are slow and boring af. I took for granted that there would be many diverse and fun ways to get a lot of money, like every previous GTA game. At least I could do yoga (for no reward, as is typical in V). They completely forgot to make any of the side content fun or rewarding.
