I remember when the modpacks in a lost webpage called Definitive Edition are the goat in just fix glitches, bugs and some visual improvements.
I still have those in my PC. idk if uploading someday could get me in trouble.

imo they are pretty solid if you doing 100% runs.
PD: The GTA SA one had RoSA too.
Wait. Are those same mods bundled with repacks of GTA games?

Steven Ogg and the GTA V community are butting heads again.

At this point, Ogg and the GTA V community deserve each other. :story:
Some artists get a really big chip on their shoulder about their most successful work. And on some level I can understand it; imagine the amount of mouth droolers coming up to him, asking him to "do the line" or whatever, it would be enough to drive you crazy.

a lot of people seem to not understand this fact or they have weirdly childlike views of this but it's not uncommon for the voice actor of these characters to not even play the games they are in or even care that much for the series itself. Considering the history of this franchise and how fucked over most of the voice actors have gotten I can see why Steven Ogg probably had the best outcome of just doing his part and leaving (unless there's some stuff i missed but he's been quiet until recently when peolpe got annoying.)

This reminds me of some stuff i was funnily enough reading about with that korean dude PSY (Gangdam Style). He was in an interview and you could tell by his answers he was getting annoyed with how everything question seemed to relate to Gangdam Style. In the same vain i can see how irritating it is when you just wanna try and move on and people come up to you and go "do the Trevor thing lol"

GTA 6 isn't even out yet, & we're getting anime GTA (combined with NFS, NBA, Tony Hawk Tuah, DoA, Spiderman, Infamous, DMC, Mahjong, Genshin Impact, Scarlett Nexus).
I don't know if anyone still remember, knows, or even cares. But Ananta, the anime GTA, after an year of essentially radio silence, has come up with a 7 minute long gameplay (with actual game being most of it).
The reason for the radio silence seems to be the gameplay overhaul, especially combat is more like Sifu, Sleeping Dogs, Arkham games, with the open-world interactiveness extended to go from just GTA to Yakuza with minor Saints Row chaotic wackyness (side-quests), & Watch Dogs (hacking). Also, a little bit of Prototype with the black tentacles instead of the string for swinging before.

Meanwhile, the game itself seems to be less of a Genshin Impact copy (like the upcoming urban fantasy anime games NTE & Azur Promilia) & turned into an urban MMO which still has the fantasy elements from before.

Also, Famitsu has confirmed it's cosmetic gacha so you roll for clothing, housing, cars, etc., not the characters.

Edit: I found the trailer songs, if anyone cares.

those fuckers really did second life first and gta 6 second huh
This was rumored for a while. Most of these big game franchises are eventually going to turn into Ready Player One-style world simulations anyways and probably will eventually integrate with whatever metaverse project Zuckerberg is trying to build. The real death of consoles starts there. This is a good way for big corporations to control the content of their IPs instead of having to sue everybody for modding the game.

Another Ananta gameplay video thanks to the Tokyo Game Show.
There are some minor issues that require more polish, but so far so good.

if you see one, you've seen them all :smug:

not to mention they get to optionally pay scraps for paid mods and shieet... i think paying a modder like 1% of sales is probably far cheaper than a jeet and the modder is going to be more autistic, therefore slightly more capable than a jeet.

So they want to be Everywhere, or Fortnite?
Yes. Even better for R*, all they'd need to do is license music or some celebrity cameo like they did for GTA Online. They're an expert in parody so anything current happening, just make a spoof of it.

From a business perspective, it makes sense. When GTA Online dies down, they can still make a little money from the PC/roleplaying community. Would GTA 6 have RP elements by default? Maybe, but we know for certain a PC port is inevitable, just not right away.

Every time I learn Ananta is still going on, I hate it a little more.

If nothing else, the demo barely has good visual effects and the fast vehicles feel too slow. I shouldn't be looking at this and want to play a different game [namely Sleeping Dogs].

The female protagonist is making everyone wary, because even the most ghetto nigger out there has by now learned what it means when a game suddenly starts featuring a sassy woman of color as the protagonist.
Would it? If anything, with how popular GTA V was and is with conventions, the sex appeal from Lucia would definitely captivate a larger audience for obvious reasons. Don't tell me that the second trailer with T&A was not intentional from R*. Key point: conventions. I'm sure the participants keep all the money from merch.
